Nakita kong nakatulala din sa itaas ang lalaking bampira na ngayo'y hindi pa isinawalat ang pangalan, mga mata ni Moiraine na tila'y nangugusap sa mga tala, si Gildor na nakayap sa kanyang tuhod habang mariing minamasdan ang buwan.

Gumuhit ang maliit na ngiti sa aking labi.

Mabilis akong lumapit doon at nakita ko ang malaking butas sa kanyang tiyan at lumalabas na mga laman.

Napapikit nalang ako.

"Noella." Lumingon ako kay Moiraine at nakita kong pinulot niya ang aking dalang bag.
