Just an assistant to you (Catnap x reader)

Valentine's day special

{Quick note this does fall into the story line at all this is just a fun little thing I want to do for the holiday so think of this as an AU I guess.}

It's Valentine's Day morning and you were with the kids. You and the kids were sitting at the table making Valentine's day stuff. "Ms. Y/n?" Sky asked. "Yes?" You said. "Do you have a Valentine?" Sky asked. "Well-" "Of course Ms. Y/n has a Valentine it's obviously Mr. Catnap." Sally interrupted you. "Actually Catnap hasn't asked me yet-" You said. The kids gasped. "MR. CATNAP HASN'T ASKED YOU YET!?" They all questioned you at the same time. "But isn't he your boyfriend?" Kevin said. "Yes but no need to jump down Catnap throat it is our first Valentine's day together so he might be nervous." You explained to the kids. "Oooooo." The kids said together. "And beside that it's still early in the morning so we have to give him time." You said. "Ok." The kids said and went back to what they were doing. You continued helping the kids. Catnap walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around you. "Good morning Catnap." You said. "Morning-" Catnap said sleepily. You started petting him. Catnap purred. "Hey kids has Y/n been asleep today?" Catnap asked. You looked at the kids praying that they wouldn't say anything. They gave you a evil little grin. "No Mr. Catnap." They said. "You all are so evil-" You said. "Any besides that I got you something." Catnap said. You looked at him. "Oh." You said. Catnap handed you a dead mini Kickin. "Aww Catnap you didn't have to." You said and petted him. He purred again. The kids looked terrified. "Ms. Y/n that's dead." Sully said. "I know it's just cat behavior." You said. The kids looked at you confused. "What I'm saying is it's normal for cats to bring people dead things." You explained to them. "Ooooo." They said. Catnap nuzzled you. "I love you." Catnap said. You giggled. "I love you too." You said. "Mr. Catnap are you forgetting something?" Sally asked. Catnap looked at her. "I don't think so." Catnap said. The kids gasped. "MS. Y/N HE FORGOT!" The kids said. Catnap looked at you confused. "What am I forgetting?" Catnap asked. "What's today's date?" You asked him. "February 14." Catnap said. "Ok what is today then?" You asked. Catnap thought for a minute. "Your birthday?" Catnap asked. "No try again." You said. Catnap looked puzzled. "What?" He asked. "You spent it with someone important." Oscar said. Catnap was still puzzled. "What is today?" He questioned himself.  He looked at you. "Wait-" Catnap mumbled. "SHIT IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY!" Catnap yelled. You giggled. "Y/n will you be my valentine?" Catnap asked. You smiled. "I never thought you asked. You said. You grabbed Catnap's face and pulled him into a kiss. Catnap kissed you back and picked you up. And walked you to his bedroom. Catnap walked in and closed the door. He laid down with you still in his arms. You cuddled up to him. "You need to get some sleep." Catnap said. "I'm not tired." You said. Catnap kissed your forehead. "You need sleep." Catnap said. You sighed. "Ok." You said. You laid your head on Catnap's chest and fell asleep. 

{Skip time Kickin asked Bubba out and he said yes.} 

You woke up to Catnap sleeping. "Sleepy kitty."  You thought to yourself. You tried to get up but Catnap grabbed you. "CATNAP!" You hollered. Catnap chuckled and sat up. "You can't do that." You said. Catnap smirked. "Still jumpy I see." Catnap said. You blushed. "N-No-" You mumbled. Catnap pulled you close to him and kissed your forehead.  "I love you kitten." Catnap said. "I love you too you goof ball." You said. You and Catnap got up and walked out of Catnap's room. You noticed that Dogday was sitting by himself. He looked sad. You walked over to him. "What's wrong Dogday?" You asked. "I don't have a valentine-" Dogday said and sighed. You looked at Catnap. You felt bad for him. Catnap sighed and put his paw on Dogday's shoulder. Dogday looked up at Catnap. "Dogday you don't have to be upset just because you don't have a valentine this year." Catnap said. "It's just-" Dogday started. "I know usually we don't have a valentine together." Catnap said. Dogday sighed. "Dogday." Catnap said. "Yea-" Dogday mumbled. "If you want you can third wheel me and Y/n." Catnap said. Dogday smiled and started wigging his tail. Dogday stood up and hugged Catnap. "Thank you." Dogday said. "Your welcome." Catnap said and hugged Dogday back. The three of you spent the day together to be honest it was fun. Catnap and Dogday spent the day both playfully flirting with you. You were shocked that Catnap even let Dogday flirt with you. But you got them back. After the kids were in bed you and the critters hung out. "Soooo how was everyone's valentine's day?" Bobby asked. "Good." Everyone said. Bobby smiled. "So Y/n I noticed that Catnap and Dogday were both flirting with you today so how'd that go?" Hoppy asked. You blushed. "It was ok." You mumbled. "Damn I'm shocked Catnap didn't rip Dogday's throat out." Kickin said. "I let Dogday have it today but if he tries it again I will." Catnap said and gave Dogday a dirty look. "Understood-" Dogday said and hid behind you. You giggled. "Dogday I won't let him hurt you. You said. Dogday smiled. Picky yawned. "I think I'm going to hit the hay." Picky said. The other critters decided they were too. You and Catnap were alone. "So what do you want to do?" Catnap asked you. You looked at him. "I think just cuddled." You said. You and Catnap cuddled with each other for the rest of the night. When your shirt ended Catnap picked you up and took you to his room and the two of you fell asleep quickly. <3
