Chapter 1 Your new job

You walked up to the massive toy factory. You had just got a job at the toy factory to try and help with your social anxiety. You took a deep breath and walked in. You were welcomed by bright colors and the lobby. "You must be Y/n right?" The girl at the desk asked. "Yes." You said. "Follow me." The girl said and stood up. You followed her. We walked into a room that must have been the toy factory part of the building. You still followed her down the stairs. You found yourself in a room named the Game station. She stopped at a little train. "Get on the train and someone will be down there to get you settled in." You nodded and got on. The train started moving. After a while the train stopped. You got off the train you stood in a very big room the walls were painted sky blue with clouds. And there was a huge house thing you started to wonder what it was that you didn't even notice someone walked up to you. "Hi you must be the new assistant!" A voice beside you said. You jumped at the voice and turned to face there. You stood there in shock to see a huge stuffed animal dog next to you. "I'm Dogday!" He said. "Y-Y/n." You stuttered. "Sorry if I scared you." Dogday said. "You're fine I just didn't expect this." You said. "Yeah I suppose this isn't normal but there is a lot more of us." Dogday said. "Anyway I should show you around the place." Dogday said and took your hand. Dogday show you around you got to meet the other smiling critters and it was fun to be fair. "There's one more critter you have to meet your job is to helped him." Dogday said. You nodded. Dogday knock on the door. "Catnap your new assistant is here!!!!" Dogday yelled though the door and opened it. "Dogday what have I said about annoying me when I'm sleeping-" The purple cat said. You could tell he was annoyed. "I know but you new assistant here and I thought you should meet her." Dogday said as he wagged his tail. "Why the fuck do I need a assistant?" The cat said still annoyed. "CATNAP LANGUAGE!" Dogday scolded. Catnap let out a sigh. "Hi I'm Y/n." You said. He looked at you. "Catnap." He replied. "Anyway I'll leave you to alone to get acquainted and I'm going to go check on the kids." Dogday said and ran off. You stood there and thought of what to say. "Are they sure they didn't higher a 12 year old?" Catnap question. "I'm not 12 I'm 18 thank you very much." You replied to his comment. He looked you up and down. "Then your very short." Catnap said and laid back. You were annoyed at this point but stay calm. "I can't help I'm 5'8." You said. Catnap laughed. You were kinda embarrassed but kept quiet. "That's funny." Catnap said with a smile on his face. You stood there wondering what you were going to do. "Why aren't you up?" You asked him. "Because I have night shift." Catnap said. You stood there in shock. "Night shift-" You asked him. "Yeah I put the little shit's
to bed at night." Catnap said with an annoyed look on his face. "And they allow you around kids because?" You asked. Catnap looked at you like you were stupid. "Because I the only person who can put the kids to bed." Catnap said. You stood there not knowing what to say it was kind of awkward. "So why did you take this job?" Catnap asked. "I need the money I guess." You said. Catnap's expression changed it was more serious than it was before. "So what you don't care who gets hurt in this mess do you?" He said annoyed. You looked at him confused. "What are you talking about?" You asked. "Don't play dumb it was in your contract." Catnap said. You looked at him with a nervous look. "I didn't read the contract but should I of?" You asked. Catnap looked at you in shock. "You didn't read the contract?" He asked. "No." You said. "What idiot doesn't read a contract?" Catnap asked you. "I didn't but should I be worried?" You asked. "You'll find that out on your own." He said. You didn't like the sound of that. Catnap stood up and stretched. You about died when you saw how tall he was. "You're a lot taller than Dogday!" You said still in shock. "I am the tallest smiling critter here." He said and started for the door. "You coming?" He asked. You nodded and followed him. You two end up in the playcare where Dogday and Hoppy were watching the kids play. "Hey Catnap and Y/n!" Dogday said with a smile on his face. "Hi Dogday." You said. "So you get the lazy Cat out of bed?" Hoppy teased Catnap. "Oh shut it Hoppy." Catnap annoyingly said. Hoppy giggled at it. "Who's that?" A little girl walked up to Hoppy and asked. "That's Y/n Catnap's new assistant." Hoppy explained. "Oh." The girl said. She looked at you like she was puzzled. "How old are you?" She asked. "18." You replied. She looked at you harder. "You look 10." She said. You looked at her and had no words. Catnap laughed. "See I'm not the only one who thinks your a child." He said still laughing. You sighed. You did what to think. The little girl ran off to go tell her friends about you. You started talking to Dogday, Hoppy, and Catnap when a group of kids walked up to you. "See!" the little girl from early said. Her looked at you and started comparing there heights to you. You were embarrassed by this. You could hear Catnap, Dogday, and Hoppy laughing at you. But you stood there and took it. Before you knew it time had flied. "Alright munchkins it's bed time." Catnap said. The kids looked at him sad. "Can we stay up five more minutes?" One of the kids asked. "You know the rules." Catnap said. The kid turn to you. "Can we miss Y/n?" The kid asked you. You looked at Catnap and then looked back at the kids. "Sorry kids Catnap the boss." You said. You could tell the kids were disappointed. "But you're an adult so why can't you said we can?" Another kid asked. "Catnap's my boss so what he said goes." You said. "Aw-" the kid said and started the way to the room with the others you follow behid and prompt yourself against a wall and wait for the kids to lay down for the night.
