As she examined herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel uncertain" or this..." she trailed off, turning to Carlos for his opinion " bae you know we are only going karting relax .. "- He appreciated her attention to detail, but he also wanted her to feel comfortable and at ease instead of begin uncomfortable Avery nodded, realizing she might have been overthinking things. "Daniel .."- called out max " yes ?"- he answered looking at him "carlos and ave are dating.. lando accidentally spelled it out "- Daniel's eyes widened in surprise at max . "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief. Yeah, Lando let it slip during our conversation earlier," he confirmed Daniel's mind raced as he processed the news. Carlos and Ave, dating? It was unexpected " max.. i have to go"- he took his car keys " but..the pizza just arrived.."- max replied sighing when daniel had already left. Max shrugged, resigned to enjoy the pizza on his own. As he settled in with a slice, he couldn't help but realization sank in.. he may have just caused a stir between the two ricciardos , He knew Daniel and Carlos had a close friendship, and he hadn't intended to stir up any trouble by mentioning Carlos and Ave's relationship. Max hoped that everything would work out between them and that his comment wouldn't cause any tension He made a mental note to apologize to Daniel later and avery .
After returning from the karting date, The couple enjoyed the company of ella and lando watching a movie on the large tv screen of Averys living room, Snuggled up on the comfortable couch when a knock on the door was heard making lando get up and check who it was.. when he opened the door he was greeted by Daniel " oh hi mate .." " is ave inside?"- he didn't even greet the brit , avery steppped out to talk with her brother not knowing that his old habit of begin over-protective is back but she sensed the tension in the air and braced herself for what was to come "you and carlos? Really! Hes using you!"- when daniel said that avery was stunned " how dare you dan.. hes a good person and you know that"-She couldn't understand why her brother couldn't see Carlos the way she did as a kind, genuine person who cared deeply for her.
" your my sister.. hes my friend no way im letting you two date"-Avery's eyes widened in disbelief at her brother's statement. "Daniel, you can't tell me who I date," she said, her voice firm with determination. "Carlos makes me happy, i love him so much and that's all that matters" She took a step closer to Daniel, her expression unwavering. "I understand you're looking out for me, but you have to trust me," she continued. " Carlos is a good person, and I won't let anyone stand in the way of our happiness.. hes not dave .. "- daniel expression softened even that hes still a bit hesitant, he knew he couldn't force her to break up with sainz ,he nodded and said " but if he ever tried to hurt you... come to me "- Daniel looked down and apologized to lando and his sister , then he asked " how long..?" " around 5 months now.. we wanted to tell you i promise.. wait how did you know"- avery asked " i.. uhh.. "- Daniel decided to save max and didn't sell him out so he kept quiet.
Two days later..
" good he didn't ask you to break up"- said liam while focusing on the sketch hes drawing "Yeah, I'm relieved about that too," she replied softly, a hint of gratitude in her voice. Liam's support meant a lot to her. " pierre asked if he could tag along with us "- ella said looking at her phone screen "sure i dont see why not.. is estie coming?" - asked liam " i think yes he will be there too" " mick is downstairs come on lets go "-With a quick glance at Liam, she made sure he was ready to go before heading out the door. spending time with Mick and their friends liam couldn't wait to see what the day had in store for them , as they needed time off work , as they reached to micks car they entered the car with the german boy greeting them .
After around an hour, they found themselves gathered at a cozy café, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. The chatter of their group filled the space as they caught up on each other's lives, " sebastain is asking if we will visit his house in during the break?"- wondered esteban " i dont know about my schedule "- answered avery " i cant sorry, me and my family have decided to go visit to Austria to see our relatives "- replied ella apologetically Esteban nodded understandingly, taking note of everyone's responses. "No worries.," he said with a smile as he texted Sebastian about their decision .
Time skip... to Singapore gp weekend
" carlos whats wrong with you today? Your quite "- asked lando concerned "Oh, sorry," he replied, offering a smile. "I guess I'm just lost in thought today. Nothing serious lano." His friends exchanged concerned glances, but they respected his privacy, knowing that he would share if he wanted to. Instead, they shifted the conversation to other things "boys , the fia is holding a drivers meeting.. we should go"- sighs fernando hating more on the fia " probably to favor the redbulls agin"- said esteban in a pissed tone making max turn around to face him but Daniel quickly pulled verstappen out so the two wont fight agin , Max took a deep breath, visibly trying to calm himself down " you ok?"- asked Daniel softly " yes dont worry but next time I'll kill him" - daniel patted his friend back gently stroking it " you two need to sort your fights out its getting too much for everyone please " " im sorry. But he does it on purpose "- sighed verstappen walking towards the meeting spot.
Meanwhile in Italy, the modeling trio prepared for their next photoshoot while putting on the final touches " i saw you stumble .. are you ok? "- whispered liam noticing aves mood " y..yes don't worry i am ok"- she replied , Ava forced a smile, hoping to reassure Liam, but the weight of her emotions lingered around .. Ava barely noticed when the photographer called for them to take their positions. It was only Liam's gentle touch on her arm that brought her back to the present, his concern evident in his eyes.
"Are you sure you're okay, Ava.. maybe you're getting sick ?" he asked softly, his voice filled with genuine concern. Ava hesitated, torn between the facade she had carefully constructed . But before she could respond, the photographer interrupted, urging them to focus on the task at hand. After hours of shooting they were allowed to leave and head back to the hotel.. avery didnt waste a second and left..
Avery laid awake in bed that night, the tears she had been holding back finally spilled over, a silent testament to the fear she carried within her heart knowing that her past is going to hunt her soon...after getting new threats from her ex boyfriend.
