The Tragic Night

"You look so pretty Naina" Vrinda aunty complimented and I smiled

"Thank you aunty. You all are just rocking" I replied

"But you rocked it more. Can't believe I'm anywhere less then heaven" Uncle said and I looked at him and then at his son behind.

"What happened Naina di. Why you so shocked" Ruh asked

"Because I got the exact same compliment half an hour ago" I chuckled

"Well, if Arjun, then he has copied Bade papa" Nishant bhaiya mocked

"Of course he did" I too mocked and everyone chuckled

"It's really amazing Naina. We're all so proud of you" Chachi complimented

"Thank you. " I smiled

"Where are your mom and dad" Daadi asked

"They must be on the way" I replied

Everyone was busy talking when I looked at person looking at me keenly.

I looked at him to see him raising his brow when I slightly denied my head in no.

"Everyone, I'll be busy with Mr. Davis. So you guys carry on" Arjun said his eyes still moving to me.

"Okay. Where's food Naina di" Ruh asked and a chuckle left my mouth.

"Come. I'll give you company in our favorite thing" I said and he grinned

"Bye everyone" He waved and pulled me with him.

"You look really beautiful by the way you know" He complimented

"Thanks. You're also sizzling the floor" I said

"But you know now I get to know that why Bhaiya put house on head asking for red pocket square" He smirked and I blushed

"Food " I mumbled and he giggled

We tried on some dishes and desserts of course which were so scrumptious that we filled our tummies with them only.

"You know, I've to really burn lot of calories tomorrow" Ruh said as we were having ice creams.

"That's Your worry. I don't believe in burning anything" I grinned

"Really" A voice came and I hummed without turning

"I'm sure you'll burn some calories least" He said

"Whoo. Bhaiyaa! Your small brother is sitting here and you talking dirty" Ruh spoke and I looked at both the idiots wide eyed.

"Sush guys. People are around" I mumbled

"I didn't even say anything. It's Ruh and his dirty thinking" Arjun shrugged

"Oh please. I can clearly look how you can't take eyes off Naina di" Ruh smirked

'Ruhaan! " I and Arjun both spoke at same time and he giggled stuffing his mouth with some more ice cream.

"By the way you left Mr. Davis's side and came here. Why? " I asked

"Can't tolerate that woman" He mumbled

"Which woman" Ruh asked and I and Arjun both looked at each other.

"Mrs. Davis. She's a bit extra chatty" I lied

"Yeah." Arjun agreed and Ruh nodded

"Ruh, why don't you go to Nishant" Arjun said and Ruh looked at both of us and nodding went.

"What happened? " I asked as Ruh left

"Nothing. I don't know why but I just want the event to get over now as soon as possible. " He said
