Facing The Past

ARJUN'S POV

Next morning, as I got ready for office, I went downstairs to see everyone having their tea in living room.

"Morning everyone. " I wished

"Morning, you're late today" Dad asked

"Yeah a bit. Mom, I'll have my breakfast at office. Just give me my coffee" I told and she nodded

"Talked to Naina?" Nishant asked as I sat on the couch.

"Naina? " Daadi questioned

"Its about business. The Asian head and I had signed the remaining papers and Naina and I've settled on two ideas. Well, we both know which one is the best yet we've kept two ideas to present in front of him. I just hope, Naina being Naina doesn't get late" I said

"Come on. She isn't late. She just gets stuck in works" Mom defended her handing me my coffee.

"Mom, she gets late. Stop defending her" I stated and she sighed

" Five minutes can be considered" She Deadpanned and I huffed.

"I might be late today. The meeting is in late evening. Might last till 11 pm or some" I told having my coffee and after which I left for office.

I know today Naina too must be very busy because for her too this is going to be biggest project till now.

As I reached office, Mrs. Jain gave me schedule and the work took a kick start.

The whole day passed in jiffy and at somewhat 8 pm, Mrs. Jain informed me the arrival of Mr. Arora. The Asian head of Marrian group.

"A warm welcome for him Mrs. Jain. And then take him to my cabin" I told and she nodded.

After some five minutes, a knock was there again.

"In " I commanded and Mrs. Jain came with a man of somewhat my age.

"Sir, Mr. Arora this side" She said and I stood up from my chair and shook hands.

"Mr. Singhania, nice meeting you again" He cockily spoke

Yeah, he's kinda a boast. I don't know of what he's even boasting in front of me.

"Welcome to my office, again Mr. Arora" I said and he raised a brow yet nodded.

We both sat down as Mrs. Jain excused for arranging dinner.

"Mrs. Jain, get in touch with Crafting Dreams" I told as I remembered mom's words.

CEO of  Crafting Dreams is Late again!!

"So, everything set" He asked

"Yes. Crafting dreams, I hope you've heard the name" I asked

"Yes I've but never really got time to see to it" He said

"No problem. This time, you'll. The team is talented and well, we've had a meeting and settled on two ideas. Once they are here, their head will present the both ideas. We can settle on one mutually " I told

"Mr. Singhania, I hope it matches Marrian image" He asked

Speaks as if Chairman the head of Marrians!

"Let the actions speak then" I replied curtly and he nodded.

After some five minutes, my phone beeped and I looked at the message.

I'm here. Is the head already here?

She wrote.

Fast Naina. He's here.
