Rebecca's eyes softened, and I leaned in for a gentle kiss. As we stood there, surrounded by the remnants of the event, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the love we shared.

"How about let's have dinner after the event?" I asked.

"Well... are you sure you wouldn't take her to have that spicy dinner instead?" she teased, giggling mischievously.

I grinned, "Not a chance. I've already got plans for a perfect evening, and they involve you, not with anyone else."

Rebecca smirked, "Good answer. I'd love to have dinner with you, my love."

"Besides, if I want a spicy evening. I'd rather have..." then I leaned in to her ear and whispered, "you naked under me."

Becky blushed like a red tomato and playfully slapped my shoulders. "Freeeeeen!"

Amused by her reaction, I couldn't help but chuckle at our playful banter. "Alright, alright, I'll keep it light for now. No extra spiciness." I teased.

Rebecca rolled her eyes, still blushing. "Your sense of humor never fails, Freen. Let's just stick to the dinner plans without any unexpected twists, okay, babe?"

"Deal," I agreed. "A nice, normal dinner it is. I promise." I continued with a grin.

As we continued our stroll toward a charming restaurant, the evening unfolded with the promise of shared laughter, delectable food, and the comforting warmth of each other's company. The unexpected turns of the day had only strengthened our connection, and I couldn't have been happier to share these moments with Rebecca. Our laughter echoed through the night, harmonizing with the city's ambient sounds, creating a melodic backdrop to our unfolding love story.

"I plan to have more of these moments for the rest of our lives," I thought, looking into Rebecca's eyes with a sincerity that reflected the depth of my commitment to our shared journey. The city lights seemed to dance around us, casting a warm glow on our path as we continued to walk hand in hand, embracing the promise of a future filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments together.

Becky's POV

Ever since Freen and I reconciled following a breakup that inflicted considerable pain on both of us, our relationship has been marked by continuous effort and growth. Despite encountering challenges, such as navigating the hurdles of a long-distance relationship during her freshman year, we consistently opted for open communication and thoughtful discussions to overcome any obstacles in our path.

As time passed, our relationship became a mosaic of shared experiences and individual growth. We navigated the challenges of changing life circumstances with grace, learning to lean on each other without losing our independence.

Looking back, the pain of our initial breakup seemed like a distant memory, overshadowed by the richness of the journey we had undertaken since then. Our relationship wasn't perfect, but it was real and authentic—a testament to the strength that can emerge from the ashes of heartbreak. Together, we continued to write the chapters of our story, knowing that each obstacle only added depth to the narrative of our enduring love

"And now it seems that we have another challenge at hand" I uttered to myself, holding Freen's phone with a pop-up notification message from a certain "Love" and it reads as, "Thank you for the diner last night"

The message would have seemed innocent if I hadn't pieced together that Freen kept her dinner with this person a secret from me. After all, she had informed me the previous night that she would be having dinner with Nam. And to top it off, she had saved this person's number as "Love."

Maintaining a facade of normalcy, I sipped from my milk tea as Freen returned from the restroom, unaware of the storm brewing within me.

In recent weeks, I noticed some signs that made me think Freen might be cheating. Our regular coffee shop dates turned into situations that felt a bit off, making our story more complicated.
