Everyone was sound asleep at South Downs until Aziraphale sat up with a grunt of pain. He rubbed his temple as his head throbbed.
“Angel.” Crowley mumbled as he jerked awake, “What’s wrong?” He sat up immediately when he saw his husband was in pain.
“Just a headache, dear boy.”
“You don’t get headaches.” Crowley said as he touched Aziraphale’s forehead. “You don’t feel warm so it’s not a fever.”
“I know that silly!” Aziraphale swatted Crowley away. “Can you please get Gabriel on the phone, we better check on him and Eden.”
“You think that’s where the pain is coming from?” Crowley asked as he grabbed his cellphone from the bedside table.
“I believe so my love.”
"Ughh." Gabriel grunted as his ringtone went off. He reached for his purple cellphone on the bedside table and hit the speaker button. "Hello?"
"Hey, Gabriel, it's Crowley, just wanted to check in on Eden. Aziraphale’s got a headache and we wanted to check in with you guys. Is everything okay over there?" Gabriel sat up instantly, wide awake now. "A headache?" Aziraphale didn't experience headaches anymore. That only happened when….
Gabriel turned to check on Eden but that's when he realized that she was gone.
