Jennie and Lisa just picked up their bags when Jennie started feeling nervous. "I might puke soon," she told Lisa but Lisa quickly calmed her down saying, "I already told you they're cool hon". She rubbed Jennie's back and said, "It's 2 AM and you won't even see them till tomorrow."

Jennie hesitated, "Can't I just-"

"No way, why would you check into a hotel when you can always crash at my place? But seriously, enough with the whining, papa and mom can't wait to see you. You've seen how he kept asking about you yesterday". With that, Lisa ended the conversation and they left the airport.

As they stepped outside, it started pouring in Bangkok. But the rain couldn't dampen their excitement. They had kept their arrival in Thailand a secret as they took a direct flight after their encore in Hanoi. Jisoo and Rose had already gone back to Korea after having dinner at Rose's newfound Pho restaurant.

Jennie, Lisa, Jake, and Alison were the only ones left and they were ready to make the most of their four-day stay in Thailand. Jennie would return to Korea first and Lisa would fly to Paris two days after.

Throughout the entire trip, Jennie couldn't help but feel restless and tense. Her mind was constantly preoccupied with anxious thoughts about how Lisa's parents would react when they finally met her. Knowing how close Lisa is to her parents, Jennie couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, especially since Lisa was likely to share that Jennie had broken up with her several months ago.

Lisa noticed Jennie's long face and gently cupped her face while they were on their way to Lisa's home. The sound of heavy rain drowned out Jennie's voice as she nervously confessed, "I uhm... I'm scared..." Lisa leaned in closer, urging Jennie to speak up. "What's wrong?" she asked. Jennie took a deep breath and said louder, "I'm scared."

Lisa knew that Jennie was anxious about meeting her parents but Lisa reassured her that everything would be fine and that her parents were cool with it. In fact, Lisa's mother was the first to suspect something was wrong before Jennie broke up with her daughter. She even asked Lisa to play along.

"Hey, let's play a fun game!" Lisa suggested, hoping to distract Jennie and lift her spirits. "Can you remember which way we turned to get to my house?"

Jennie looked around thoughtfully before breaking into a wide grin. "Of course, I remember!" she exclaimed. "We turned right after the main intersection, right?"

Lisa was impressed. "Wow, you remember?"

Jennie looked pleased with herself. "Meh..." she said with a hint of pride. "You could drop me off anywhere and I'd find my way there no problem."

Lisa laughed, not quite believing her. "Really? Even without your phone?"

"Even without my phone!" Jennie insisted, throwing down the gauntlet. "You can take it away and I'll still be ringing your doorbell before you know it."

Lisa raised an eyebrow. "And how will you manage that?"

Jennie shrugged nonchalantly. "I don't know, I just have a good memory, I guess. I like to remember things."

What Lisa didn't know was that there was more to Jennie's obsession with remembering the way to her house than just a good memory. During their divorce era, Jennie had often found herself scrolling through Earth Map on her phone, tracing the route to Lisa's house and imagining herself walking down that familiar road.

It was a sad and pathetic habit, but Jennie couldn't help. She missed Lisa so much that sometimes, looking at her house through the screen of her phone was the only thing that made her feel better.

After a 40-minute drive, they finally arrived at Lisa's family home. Her cousin was already there, waiting for them with a big smile on her face. She welcomed Jennie with open arms and gave her a warm hug. "Jennie, it's so good to see you again!" she exclaimed.
