Y/N turned her head to the source of an alluring voice that belonged to Hariss, sitting beside her with a can of Sprite in hand.

"Dad said he's in hospital taking his weekend treatment. That boy tried running away once"

"Oh? It must be awful, poor kid"

The young lady only hummed and sighed as she watched the sun slowly rise behind the horizon from the rooftop terrace with someone who she barely knew and is now keeping eachother company

Y/N knew once she sleeps, she'll wake up with dark circles and grumpy for the rest of the day since she couldn't sleep at all in the random guest room just thinking about everything that happened in one evening, her fate and her family. Especially Asher.

And so is Hariss, woke up hungry and he found her in the kitchen at 4am sitting alone with a glass of water on her side while massaging her forehead deep in thought

So here they are spending the chilly night outside, talking and getting know about eachother until morning comes

Hariss heard a slight sniffle from his side and felt horrible for taking the girl away from her family just because of the unpaid debt

His free arm is itching to place it over her shoulder in order to comfort her but is scared that she'll jump and runaway leaving him to watch the sunrise alone.

From sniffles to tears as she stood up to walk away and cry somewhere else but stopped when she's about to take a step

Hariss grinned and looked at their hands still attached to one another, he shifted his gaze away as he blushed and smiling like an idiot

Y/N felt her cheeks getting hot and nods with a hum. Feeling much better.

"So uh... Breakfast? Our friend Rayzal is a great cook you know, you'll love his foods"

Upon mentioning food, her stomach growled begging to be fed and sighed in embarrassment but nodded anyway. She haven't had her dinner too.
