34: Crashed

"Britney this is Alec, Ryder and Chloe." I pointed to each of them. Britney scrutinized them before her eyes landed on Ryder. She smirked. One can never keep anything from this girl.

"Is this the hunk you brought back from Italy?" Damn. Straight to the point. Ryder reddened in, I don't know, embarrassment maybe. Chloe held her palm up for a high-five which Britney quickly high-fived back. Alec sat transfixed fora moment or two before shaking his head and muttering,
"This is what romance novels does to you." I couldn't agree more.

" Won ko e o o gbeko." (You were taught morals but you didn't adhere to them) {comment for the language.} All of them gaped at me. I shrugged.
"Learnt it some time ago."
"What the hell does that even mean?!" Brit gesticulated.
"Go find out." Now it was my turn to smirk.
"Not fair." She crossed her arms on her chest.
"Life isn't fair darling. " Brit didn't retort back, only grumbled under her breath. I chuckled not bothering to tune in to what she was going on about.
"So, Alexa when are we going to crash that par-tay?" Chloe said it so carefully, it was like she was walking on eggshells. Normally I would have flinched but I only responded with much more enthusiasm.
"Tommorow!!" Chloe looked midly surprised but she quickly covered it up with a pout.
"Why can't we go today?" I thought about it. It wouldn't hurt to actually go. Besides it would help for my element of surprise,no harm in going now.
"Alright then."
"Yay!!" Alec, Chloe and Britney exclaimed. Kids. I tossed the keys to Ryder which he caught effortlessly (not without rolling his eyes of course)
"You are designated driver, get moving." We, Ryder and I, stalked to the door but Britney shouted,
"Wait!!" I groaned before turning around.
"I understand you love birds need some time alone, " she giggled with Chloe. Ugh, I can feel a migraine coming on.
"But we need a formation. Who will enter first and that kind of thing." She was actually making sense.
"How about-" Ryder spoke, he hasn't said much since we arrived at Deep Forest Pack. Perhaps, he felt threatened? I once heard that Alpha's don't feel at home in another pack.
"How about Britney goes in first then Chloe and Alec while Alexa and I bring up the rear."
"I totally second that."
"That might work."
"The hunk is a smart hunk." I face palmed.
"Brit, could you stop saying that?." It was more of a statement than a question.
"Nope." I sighed. AGAIN. This place was making me grow older by the minute. Everyone filed into the car but Britney pulled me aside.
"You'll tell me after this is over, right?" I already knew what she was on about. I would rather she heard from me that any other person's mouth. And that was bound to happen considering we are going back to the scene of the crime. So i blurted out the shirt version.

"Brian rejected me." I expected her to get angry or at least be shocked but she only shrugged her shoulders.

"Yeah, I knew that." And I could only stand and watch as she sashayed to the car and got in.

Britney ran in screaming and pouting at the door. She was so loud that everyone came down to know what was going on. Brit's brown hair went every which way as she hyperventilated. Julia held her and tried to calm down. I gritted my teeth in anger. That fucktard.
When Brit calmed down, she got out only one sentence.

"They're coming."
And then she fainted. I almost clapped out of excitement. That was definitely Oscar worthy.

Julia, Brian, his parents, Ashley, my parents and Alex all froze for 5 seconds. Alex was the first one to snap out of it.
"Shit! Get the warriors." Everyone sprung into action. But they had taken no more than 2 steps when Chloe and Alec waltzed in. They stopped.

Chloe and Alex chatted on without regard for them. I know Alec could recognize Chloe so I asked them both to put on nose masks. Chloe was dressed in a black beanie, brown cargo pants and a white crop top. No way in hell can Alec and Julia recognize her. Alec only wore a plain white shirt and jeans.

"Do we really have to do this quickly?" Chloe asked. Alec nodded, sadly.
"Yeah, we do. I wish we don't."
"I would love to torture someone." Shit, that made her sound like a psychopath. Brian's face twisted in anger. He looks like he's going to explode.
"Right? I want the girl." Alec said a little too loudly. I nearly bowled over laughter when Alex grabbed Julia and pressed her against him. Out of the corner of my eye, I caught Brian do the same to Ashley. I'm so done with these guys.

"Get the fuck out!!" Alex growled. My friends stayed out where they were. Alec stared Alex in the eyes. Silently, challenging him. Just as Alex was about to shift, I sauntered in with Ryder by my side.
"Now, now boys. Let's not get too violent." Alex stopped his shift and stared at me. Julia fainted. Everyone else froze. Seriously, what was it with these people and freezing?

Talk about a grand entrance.

What's up peeps? So updates might delay more than they already have(sorry about that by the way) because my journal has been exhausted and it might take me a while to get a new one soo........

Anywho, Britney is ultimately my fav character. She just might have her own story. 🤭🤭 No unknown POV here. Who do you think it is ? I wonder how Deep Forest would react to Alexa's entrance. Perhaps they have been fed some lies....

I might not update for the next two weeks so bear with me.
