It's time for me to take it
I'm the boss right now
Not gonna fake it
Now when you go down
Cause this is my game.

"Alexa!!!" I grunted before running down the stairs.
"I'm coming!" I yelled back. I groaned when I nearly tripped on my dress. I emerged in the living room and found Alec sitting on the couch. He didn't notice me so I stood before him. He was stupefied.

Naturally, any guy would be. I wore a black dress that touched the ground. The dress was sleeveless with lace covering the bustier upward. The dress had spaghetti straps instead of a zip.
My hair was styled in mermaid fashion.

I styled it in wavy curls falling on my back like pasta and a small silver adornment to clip part of my hair behind my ear

I styled it in wavy curls falling on my back like pasta and a small silver adornment to clip part of my hair behind my ear.
I paired my outfit with a pair of red stilettos. My make up was done in smokey style. I wore red lipstick and a pair of blue earrings. A beautiful moon necklace given to me by Alec rested on my chest. Even I had to admit that I looked exquisite.
I twirled for Alec to see.
"How do I look?" I said just for compliments.
"Like you fell from the sky." He replied. I blushed slightly. That felt a bit overboard.
"We have to go unless we will be late." As Alec and I got into his car, I reflected on my life these past two months. Yes, months.

I cut off ties with Ryder as painful as that was. It led to weeks of depression after which Alec decided that I had to see Ryder one in a while. I took to his advice and arranged with Ryder to see him twice a week. He tried to oppose but I told him it was either that or never and he immediately agreed.

Yes, my heart and wolf yearns for him but both of them know that we can't have him. I can't be with someone who has trust issues. To the extent that he can't trust the person who was made for him. The person who promised to wait for him despite everything that was going on in her own life.

"We are here, princess." I looked out the window and saw a lavish mansion with lot's of people going in and out. My mansion was small in comparison.

Wondering what we are doing here? Well, as promised, I got a job as a secretary in a real estate company. More specifically, Alec's secretary. Alec's company was holding a party to celebrate their 10th year anniversary and I, of course, offered to be Alec's date.

Alec and I calmly stepped in to the busy building, mixing with others. We went up to talk to a few colleagues and talked the night away. We later went up to the buffet to grab some food. Also because I was hungry and my feet were killing me. I filed macaroni and cheese unto my plate. I stole a look at Alec's plate. He took spaghetti and meatballs.

We settled down at a table to eat, engaging in pointless chatter here and there. But most of the dinner was silent. In the middle of stuffing our faces, I involuntarily let out a conflicted sigh.

"Alexa, what's wrong?" He asked. I picked at my food suddenly uninterested.
"It's just..... I don't know. I don't feel.... complete." I avoided his eyes feeling somewhat ashamed of myself.
"It's normal, Alexa. You feel that way because you're a....." He trailed off but I completed his sentence.
"A rogue, I know. I kinda wish I had a pack." I finally met Alec's eyes that were now shining brightly.

"You can join my pack.!" He exclaimed.
"Your pack? Seriously?" I asked unsurely. Of course, I wanted to jump at the opportunity but I couldn't let myself get excited. They might not accept me, after all. Not all packs are keen on rogues.
"Moonlight Pack would be happy to accept you. But you have to meet some of my friends first. "

"How glad I would be if we were to be a part of Moonlight Pack." Kylie jumped about in my head.
"You don't know if they will accept us." I stated, expecting a dampening in her mood but she didn't so much as pay attention to me.
"I already know they will. She was right all along." She swooned. Who was right? I wanted to ask but my wolf was already daydreaming about life in Moonlight Pack. I chuckled softly and left her to her antics.

"Perhaps we could give it a try." I told Alec. I flashed him a smile and he smiled right back. I couldn't help but laugh.

My appetite returned and I finished my food. I looked up and saw Alex standing in front of me, extending a hand and placing the other behind him.
"Would you like to dance, milady?"
"Why, I wouldn't refuse an offer from a handsome gentleman such as yourself." I slipped my hand in his and rose to my full height. He whisked me away to the dance floor laughing.

*dabs invisible tears*
Actually the song for this chapter should be See you again by Wiz Khalfid(or something like that) but tht would be extremely cheesy. And also it doesn't fit the chapter.

Once again, I would like to say thank you to my beloved readers. I really really really REALLY appreciate this. This means a lot to me. I have no words.
*bursts out crying*
I literally have tears in my eyes. Well, in the imagination world.
How did you find the chapter?
Do you guys really think she is better off without Ryder? Most of our werewolf experts would argue that she can't leave without him but she can if she sees him occasionally.
This story is coming to an end. Should there be a part two? If you want one let me know in the comments section the title and what it should be about.

Song: Confident by Demi Lovato (P.S. this song was featured in Ballerina, during the dance battle.
