12: Fourth Chance Mate

How is it possible for us to have three ma---I mean four mates. Ive heard of two mates but never of three not to talk of four I complained.

Alexa what do you mean by four mates? Kylie asked confused.

Oh right, that guy. I dont think he was our mate because I didnt feel anything when we left and I dont know if he did either.

I had gotten back to the hotel already. I was all sprawled out on the bed thinking of everything that had happened in the past few weeks.

I found out that my family was looking for me. Like Id believe that. Excuse my language. He left to tell my ex-mate of my whereabouts. A week later, I got a job and had saved enough money for a house so I went to an agent. But the person who wants to sell the house to me happens to be another mate of mine. How messed up is that?!! A knock on my hotel door brought me out of my thoughts. All of a sudden, Kylie was on guard.

Its ..BBr.Bri.Brian! I stopped dead in my tracks.

Brian?! What does he want? Did he come to add insult to our injury they kept knocking. I now realised that it wasnt only one person.

Kylie dont worry I have a plan I texted Alec to call me in a few minutes and play along. I adjusted my dress and opened the door with confidence. Behind it were Ryder, Brian and a lady I recognised.

Can I help you? I leaned against the door blocking their entrance.

Andra!!!! I missed you so much. Are you okay? Brian asked checking me over to see if I had any injuries.

What do you want from me? I cut straight to the point.

Alexandra let us in Ryder spoke up. I whipped my head to him and smiled sweetly.

How aboutNo? I refused him turned to the lady next to him.

You should be his wife right? The one he rejected me for. Come in! I paved way for her but still blocked the guys from entering. I saw her and Ryder exchange a knowing look before I closed the door. Almost immediately my smile changed to a frown.

Okay okay . I am Ryders wife, Bella She said it as if she was expecting a reaction from me. She thought the name Bella would bring back memories. Well it did but I wasnt about to betray my emotions to her. She hadnt changed since the last time I saw her. She was still the same old Bella Williams. Oops, I meant Bella Smith.

Brian wants you to come back but its not that simple anymore because you are also Ryders mate. As his wife I should personally tell you that the result might not be in your favour. I laughed coldly at her assumptions.

What could be more in my favour than having to spend the rest of my life living with my mate. Her expression was golden.

I think its time for you to leave I opened the door and pushed her out. My mates had obviously heard our conversation. Just then, my phone rang. Time for drama!!!!!!!!

Maybe just a little bit. I miss you. Will you come over to my place? Alec was definitely good at this. I laughed and looked over to the three people standing at my door. They looked livid. I intentionally paved way for them and walked back into my room.

Id love that . Maybe we could even make a baby Alecs teasing voice came through the phone again. At the mention of baby, Ryder grabbed my phone and hung up.
