The teens gathered around Nancy's bed waiting for glittering light to appear. Dustin had told them that he was grabbing Holly's LiteBrite and plugging it in Nancy's room.
"Are you guys seeing this?" Dustin's voice echoed through the room. Nancy swiped her hand through the glow causing Dustin to laugh. Jenna stood impatiently, just wanting to see her brother again.
"We're not moving it, but we're gonna unplug it. Stand by."

The glitter went away.
"Okay, try it now," Dustin yelled.
Jenna dragged her hand through the space and spelled out, 'Hi'.
"That worked!" Dustin let them know.
As everyone cheered in excitement, Jenna continued to write, 'Stuck'.
"Okay, they're stuck in the Upside Down," Lucas could be heard saying.
"Yes, we are most definitely stuck," Eddie nodded his head.
"Uh, you can't get back through Watergate?" Dustin asked.
Jenna wrote, 'No'.

"What the hell's Watergate?" Steve asked.
"'Cause it's in water and it's a gate," Robin shrugged
"That's cute," Eddie smirked.
"Why not?" Dustin yelled back to Jenna's response.
She wrote out, 'Guarded'.
"Okay, Watergate's guarded," Dustin mumbled.
"Yes!" Steve cheered.
"Okay, we think we have a theory that can help with that," Dustin replied.
"Thank god for your genius brother," Alice patted Jenna on the back.

"We think Watergate isn't the only gate," Dustin continued, "There's a gate at every murder site.
"Does anybody understand what he's talking about?" Nancy was lost.
They all shook their heads while Jenna was deep in thought. Alice drew a '?' on the board.
"Seriously?" Dustin was irritated, "How many times do I have to be right in the money before you guys just trust me?"
"Jesus Christ, this kid's gotta get his ego checked out," Steve rolled his eyes.
"It's his tone, right?" Eddie asked.
"I know!" Steve nodded.
"How far away is your trailer, Eddie?" Jenna got back on track.

"Seven miles," He told her.
"Nancy?" Robin said just above a whisper, "Uh, I know your house here is, like, weirdly, creepily frozen in time and shit, but haven't you always had bikes?"
Nancy's face lit up and they all followed her down to the garage.
"Oh, looks like we're one bike too short," Nance sighed.
"I'll take the scooter," Jenna volunteered, "I can make it electric."

Each person hopped on their own bike, or scooter in Jenna's case, and rode all the way to Eddie's trailer.  As they rode, Jenna's neck started to feel weird, like Vecna was trying to talk with her. She tried her best to block him out, but it wasn't working well.
"Jenna," He whispered, "Why are you leaving?"
"Leave me alone, I'm not bugging you."
"Oh, but you are. My bats are bothered and some are dead because of you. I thought we had a deal."
"We do. And I've held up my end, now hold up yours."
"You're in my world right now. I don't have to do anything."
"Fuck this-"

Jenna started to manually power her scooter so she could have the energy to block him out of her head. She didn't want to deal with this minutes before she was about to see her brother again. Pain shot up the back of her neck as he tried to break through and get into her mind, but she was too good at fending him off at this point. She hadn't yet told the others how she was the cover up for him when he got too out of control in the lab, how they were both number one, how the two used to be friends many years ago, she was starting to feel more and more of the pain the hive mind felt each day she stayed in the Upside Down, and how everyday he tried harder and harder to take over her mind, trying to eat away at her until she could be used as a puppet for his doing. But it wasn't safe for them to know unless they had to. So, she kept quiet and fought silently for him to go away.

Before she knew it, they were pulling into the trailer park and parking at Eddie's trailer.
"Right here,"He told them.
They all dropped their bikes to the ground in exhaustion.
"That's gotta be a Guinness World Record," Robin said, exasperated, "Most miles traveled interdimensionally."
Steve started to lightly hack, "I just inhaled a bunch of the air shit. Sorry. It's stuck in my throat."
"You get used to it," Jenna told him.
"Eh, I don't think I want to."
