"God, how long have we been down here?" Alice was currently complaining.
"I have no clue," Jenna shrugged.
Everyone, excluding Dustin and Erica who were asleep, were sitting in a circle-like configuration just talking. Jenna was playing some music out of her portable player she carried on her and was currently playing Super Freak.
"I'm getting tired," Robin yawned and leaned against the wall.

"Does anybody have any games to play?" Alice asked.
"Why the hell would any of us have brought a game?" Steve squinted at her.
"I don't know... Oh! We can play truth or dare!"
"I hate that game," Jenna whined.
"Well, it's either that or spin the bottle and I don't really wanna kiss Mister Big-Hair over there."
"What's wrong with me?" Steve asked her, clearly offended.
"You're a man!" Alice elaborated.
"You don't like men?" Robin was confused.

"Of course not," Alice giggled, "Men are gross. I figured you'd have picked up on that already. I'm not exactly secretive about it. That's why I got kicked out of my house and live here now."
"Oh, no. I didn't pick up on anything."
"I kinda just like everyone," Jenna added into the conversation, "Boys, girls. I don't give a shit as long as you're nice and I find you attractive."
"What about you, Steve?" Robin looked towards him.
"I just like women," He shrugged, "I'm not very interesting."
"What about you, Buckley?" Alice turned towards her.

"I, um..." She couldn't really find the words to say anything.
"It's okay if this is a weird topic for you to talk about," Jenna told her, "I know it's not really a normal thing to talk about. Just know we'll hold nothing against you. We aren't bullies."
"No, it's fine. Sorry, this is just the first time I think I've ever said it aloud to someone before. I'm- I'm a lesbian. Yeah, that feels good to let out."
"Awesome!" Alice leaned forward and hugged Robin, "Now I have a buddy!"

"So, what we've learned today is everyone here likes women," Jenna smiled, "This is fun."
"Welp," Alice yawned, "I'm gonna try and hit the hay. I'm tired."
"Me, too," Robin nodded in agreement.
"I think we should all try and sleep," Steve agreed, "Who knows what time it is and if someone will show up and when."

Everyone settled down and tried their best to sleep. After what felt like eternity, but was only a couple hours, Robin and Alice were fast asleep. Jenna had tried her best to, but ultimately gave up. The floor was killing her back and the humming of the overhead lights were driving her insane. As she got up to go grab her music player, Steve spoke up.

"You can't sleep either?"
"Nope." She sat down next to him and he sat himself up.
"Do you think we're gonna get out of here?"
"I mean, at some point, yeah."
"I meant do you think we're all gonna make it out alive? Be honest with me here."
"I won't let anything happen to anyone. I'm fully charged up with electricity and I don't think any Russian stands a chance against me if they're trying to hurt any of you."

"What if stuff gets out of your control, Jenna? I know you think everything can be in your control, but it's not."
"I'll try my best to keep it in my favor."
"I'm sure you will."
"I'm hoping we can find a way out soon. I really wanted to go to the Fun Fair for the 4th."
"How about when we get out, we'll go together."
"As long as you're buying the food."
"Hey, you get paid more than me. You're the manager!"
"Hey, you were the one offering to take me."
"Fine, as long as you pay for the games."
"Now that seems like a fair split to me, Harrington."

The two sat in silence for a moment, just enjoying the fact that they were at peace and with one another.
"Can you promise me something, Steve?"
"Sure, what?"
"If anything happens to me, watch after Dustin for me."
"Don't talk like that-"
"I don't want to talk like that, but if something by chance does happen, can you please promise me that?"
"Yeah, Jenna. I can promise you that."
"Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better. Now, let's try again to sleep and in the morning create a plan."
"Alright, Henderson. Whatever you say. Goodnight. Jen."
"Goodnight, Stevie."
