"Otto the line of succession must be talked about now you are the king hand deal with it the other lords are in the council room waiting," Lord Jason Lannister of House Lannister said as he was already coming up with a plan to get his blood on the throne
" The king has just lost his wife the queen and his son the line of succession will be fine for now" Otto replied shaking his head in disbelief
"No it cannot if Daemon Targaryen becomes king the realm will fall" Jason replied before walking off a council meeting was called making the king confused
"Where's Rhaenyra?" the king questioned as he looked around for his child
" Your grace, this is the last thing any of us wish to discuss at this dark hour but I consider the matter urgent," Otto said looking uncomfortable
"What matter" Viserys asked confused what could be so urgent at such a time
" That of your succession your grace," Lord Lannister said as though it was obvious "These recent tragedies have left you without an obvious heir" he continued and Viserys shook his head appalled that this is being talked about now

" Despite how difficult this time is, Your Grace, many lords feel it is important the succession be firmly in place for the stability of the realm," Jason Lannister said ignoring the strong Lord
" The succession is already set by precedent and by law," lord strong told everyone "Shall we say his name," he asked looking around

"A half measure Your Grace the truth is Daemon should be far away from court," Jason told the man
"Daemon is my brother my blood and he will have his place at my court," Viserys told them sternly he won't send his brother away for nothing
"let him keep his place at court, Your Grace, but if the gods should visit some further tragedy on you either by design or by accident" Mellos began
"Design? what are you saying? That my brother would murder me to take my crown" Viserys questions in disbelief
" he lacks the patience to take the throne" Viserys argued
"The gods have yet to make a man who lacks the patience of absolute power Your Grace," Otto said\
"Under such circumstances, it would not be an aberration for the king to name a successor," Mellos told him
"Well who else would have a claim?" a lord questioned
" the king's born child"
"Rhaenyra? A girl?" Lyonel Strong asked shocked "No queen has ever sat on the Iron Throne"
" That is only tradition and precedent Lord Strong if order and stability so concerns this council then perhaps we shouldn't break it by naming a female heir" Mellos advised
"Daemon would be a second maegor or worse he is impulsive and violent it is the duty of this council to protect the king and the realm for him I'm sorry your grace but that is the truth as I see it and I know that other here agree"
"I will not be made to choose between my brother and daughter," Viserys shouted as he was agitated by these lords' lack of respect
" You wouldn't have to Your Grace," Coryls told him "There are others who would have a claim" he added
"Rhaenys was the only child of Jaehareys's eldest son she had a strong claim to the throne and she already has a male heir" Coryls reminded them all
"Just a moment ago you announced your support for daemon !" Viserys shouted annoyed
"if we cannot agree on an heir then how can we expect the realm to stay stable"
"Princess Rhaenyra should not sit on the throne I'm sorry Your Grace I have seen her be very cruel to many people and to your Lord Hands youngest daughter she rude and cruel to servants imagine what she would do if she was to be the ruler of the realm she would be as bad as daemon a second Maegor," a random lord said making other silently agree and Viserys to be confused not knowing of his daughter's inappropriate actions but the lords started to argue and the king was getting fed up
"My Wife and my son are dead!! I will not sit here and suffer crows that come to feast on their corpses" Viserys shouted at them
"This meeting is done," he said before leaving the room slamming the doors open

Rosalie was kneeling at the septa lighting a candle for her deceased mother and laying her mother's necklace on the stone she prayed to her gods and she prayed to her deceased mother just speaking what came to mind
before she blew out her candle finishing her prayers, and grabbed her necklace putting it back on her neck before she heard footsteps, and her guard greet the princess making her turn around.
"Princess how are you today" Rosalie greeted bowing to Rhaenyra only to be glared at
"none of your business what are you doing here and where did you get that necklace you probably stole it" was the arrogant reply she got
"I was here praying to the gods and the seven and to my mother and I can assure you that I did not steel this necklace my mother gifted it to me when I was only a child" Rosalie replied slightly upset that her peace was destroyed in such a sacred place
"Well it's ridiculous and you are nothing but a lowlife attention-seeking whore that does not deserve any luxuries in life you deserve to have nothing but pain and misery" Rhaenyra yelled ripping the necklace off her neck
"Give that back to me now" Rosalie yelled trying to grab her necklace back before she fell to the floor holding her cheek as a stinging searing pain washed over her as she realized that Rhaenyra had just slapped her
" You will do well to remember your place, and do not ever touch me again," Rhaenyra said before walking off as Rosalie cried softly "My lady let me see" her guard said grabbing her cheek seeing a bruise starting already
"I will get the maester Let get you to your chambers, my lady," he said helping her up off the floor
"No no maesters I am alright please I just wish to sleep," she said walking off to her chambers with a heavy heart her mother's necklace is gone
urgent knocks were heard on Otto's door catching his attention
"Come in" he called out making Ser Callum enter the room
"My lord hand I come with urgent news about lady Rosalie" Rosalie's guard said
"What is it is she ok," Otto said scared before becoming furious as her guard explained what had happened in the sept
