Rhaenyra came flying around the castle swooping down on her dragon Syrax landing at the dragon pit much to everyone's relief knowing that the princess was as wild as the beast of a dragon.
"Welcome back princess I trust that your ride was pleasant," Ser Westerling said watching from his place on his horse as Rhaenyra walked away from Syrax pulling off her riding gloves with her teeth.
"Try not to look too relieved Ser" she replied with a smirk as she walked past him as the Dragon keepers tried to bring her dragon into the cave.
"I am relieved every time that golden beast brings you back unspoiled it saves my head from a spike," Ser Westerling remarked but then she ignored him as she always did to anyone that speaks of their concern for her and her dragon she was a Targaryen she was meant to be wild she had the blood of the dragon in her veins.
"Syrax is growing rather quickly, she will soon be as large as Caraexes," Alicent spoke to Rhaenyra as she approached her at the carriage
"That's almost large enough to saddle two" Rhaenyra told her closest friend looking up from the bottom of the steps.
"I believe I am quite content as a spectator thank you" Alicent assured her friend shaking her head she refused to sit on a dragon she was no Targaryen
"Dohaeas" Syrax gave a little roar wanting to be in the sky with her rider not in a cave chained down the Dragon Keepers continued to command the dragon in High Valarian which took both the girls attention from each other as they watched the dragon keepers take Syrax into the caves
"We must go if you wish to see the queen before going to the council meeting," Alicent said to Rhaenyra making both of them get into the carriage before they set off

"Rhaenyra you know I don't like you to go flying while I am in this condition," the Queen, Aemma Arryn told her
" You don't like me to go flying while you are in any condition" Rhaenyra countered
"Did you sleep?" she asked sitting down on a chair near the queen's bed she sat in
"I slept" the queen replied fanning herself the summer heat getting to her
"how long?" Rhaenyra asked again
" I don't need mothering Rhaenyra" Aemma replied as she fanned herself some more
"You are surrounded by attending that are only focused on the babe someone must attend to you" Rhaenyra replied squeezing her mother's hand gently
"You will lie in this bed soon enough Rhaenyra" Aemma said nudging her daughter with her foot "This discomfort is how we serve the realm" she continued shrugging
"I'd rather serve as a knight and ride to battle and glory," Rhaenyra said smiling at the thought making her mother and close friend laugh
"We have royal wombs you and I the child bed is our battlefield we must learn to face it with a stiff lip" Aemma replied smiling softly at her daughter
"Now take a bath you stink of dragon" she continued nodding to the door
Rosalie walked into the queen's chambers after being announced by the queen guard "Your Grace" she said bowing to the queen as she greeted her
"Rosalie" the queen greeted back with a smile before Rosalie turned to Rhaenyra "Princess you are completely late to the Kings meeting you need to change into a suitable dress and go to the council room to do your job as it is your duty "she said slightly panicked afraid of upsetting her father
"I am the princess so what if I am late" was the snobbish reply she got making her sigh
"It matters a great deal! you may be the princess but that does not mean you can forget your duty you have been given the honorable job of being the Kings cupbearer and it is completely disrespectful to him as well as the Noblemen who wait for their cups to be filled and I have been asked to make sure you arrive to the meeting on time but I have already failed because you lied about your lessons with the septa to ride that gold beast" Rosalie said raising her voice slightly feeling flustered
"My apologies your grace I do not mean to bring you stress I must go before I am late to my lesson," she said to the queen before leaving the chambers to go to her lessons
"God she is so annoying," Rhaenyra said rolling her eyes
"Rhaenyra! She is right you need to get to the meeting now go and stop being so rude to the lady Rosalie," Aemma said sternly
"Very well Mother goodbye" Rhaenyra responded seething with anger leaving the room with alicent in tow
"How dare she embarrass me in Infront of my mother and maids that attention-seeking whore!" Rhaenyra ranted angrily to Alicent who bit her tongue not wishing to snap at the princess
" My sister is just trying to keep you from getting in trouble she did not mean her words in any disrespectful way" alicent reassured her angry friend
"Ya whatever" Rhaenyra scoffed rolling her eyes and stomping down the hall to her chambers needing to get changed into a proper dress

"Lady Rosalie you are late," the septa said looking at the young girl who bowed to her
"I know Setpa Grace and I am very sorry i was trying to find the Princess after I was asked to make sure she was on time for the council meeting but I failed" Rosalie explained making her nod
" Did the princess lie again?" the septa asked sending her a knowing glance as the young girl looked down and nodded
" She said she would be at lessons but she was at the dragon pit flying her beast of a dragon then she was visiting the queen"
"Ah yes well do try to be on time next time my dear now sit we are going to work on history now"
