I sat down listening to Jo explain to me why she felt she has to change her specialty. Trying my best to listen, but I couldn't help but keep my eyes on Y/N and Maggie.
Maggie looked like she was really giving it to Y/N. Though I couldn't hear what they were saying, just the look on both their faces told me that it wasn't a sweet conversation.
So of course, naturally I couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about.
I sighed and bit down on my bottom lip as I watched Y/N's jaw clench. Damnit, she is just so sexy. I start to wonder how I managed to ignore her for so long. I mean, she'd been after me since she first started working here as an intern.
Of course I know that she was sleeping around with many, many people around the hospital. But now- I feel like things are different.
You know, maybe we could really have something real, and special. Playing hard to get hasn't gotten me anywhere, and I'm starting to feel like I'm gonna crack anytime soon.
It's not that I don't wanna have sex with her. I think I'm just scared of how things will get afterwards. But the Y/N I've been seeing recently has been totally different. She's surprised me how mature, and grown up she actually is.
I mean some nights, we literally just lay in bed together talking about any and everything. She's so sweet and caring. No matter what face she likes to put on for people here at the hospital. I feel like I've seen the real her.
I leaned my head to the side as I analyzed her and her facial expression. It was one I couldn't read-
"Oh my- Arizona, you're not even listening to me!"
I quickly snapped myself out of my thoughts before glancing back to her.
"Huh? Oh of course I am Jo." I spit out quickly, but she knew it was a lie.
She shook her head at me and laughed. "Oh please, I see how you're looking at Grey over there. You didn't hear a damn thing I just said."
Sighing deeply I shrugged. "Damn, I'm sorry Jo. I was intending to listen I swear."
"What's on your mind?"
"I guess I'm just... conflicted about some things." I said not getting into too much detail about it.
She nodded. "Ahh, about Y/N? You too seem to getting along great."
I smiled feeling my cheeks heat up. "Yeah, I guess we are."
Jo looked over at me and raised her eyebrows. "Wait- are you like- in love with her!?"
"Shhhhh!" I stood up frantically looking around, god I hope no one heard her loud ass.
She grabbed my hands and squealed. "Oh my god, Arizona. That's so adorable, I've never seen you like this before!"
"Thank you Jo." I laughed slightly while rolling my eyes. "But I'm not too sure how I'm feeling or what this is just yet. So please just-"
