"Lani? You in here?" Andrea calls out as she enters the music room, looking around only to find that it was empty. "Girl texts me that theres an emergency in the music room, yet she's no where to be found." Just then, her phone chimes, making her groan.
Lani
sing the song on the piano
"What in the..." Andrea walks over to the grand piano in the front of the room, taking a seat on the bench to find that the song in question was Just Wanna Be With You. "You've got to be kidding me."
Nonetheless, the girl begins to play the song. Softly singing the first verse to herself.
I got a lot of things
I have to do
All these distractions
Our future's coming soon
We're being pulled
A hundred different directions
But whatever happens

Andrea sighs before singing the pre-chorus, half expecting someone to jump out from the instrument lockers in the back of the room.

Memories of her time with EJ begin to play in her head. The happy times and the sad times, the first very much outweighing the latter. She smiles fondly as she continues with the song.

A new voice comes in to sing the second verse, almost catching the girl by surprise as this seemed to become a normal occurrence for the girl.
You know how life can be
It changes over night

Andrea beams as she harmonizes with EJ, making space for him on the piano bench.

Always make it easy

Every time
Brushing one of his hands against hers, he begins to play the bass notes for the song as they continue to sing together.

EJ uses his finger to turn the girl's head to face him, their faces merely inches apart. Andrea's heart skips a bit, her eyes flickering to the boy's lips for a moment.
No matter where life takes us

Andrea stops singing, completely dazed, as EJ continues in with the last line.

A tense silence fills the room as the excouple continue to gaze into each other's eyes, their chests rising and falling in rhythm. Both of them were too scared to speak, afraid that the wrong move would make the other disappear.
