The next three hours were dreading, and as she waved Max goodbye from the same apartment complex, she couldn't help but want to puke. Not only had Max tried to touch every chance he could get, but he wouldn't take his eyes off her breasts.

He would try wrapping his hand around her when they were driving, would brush their knees together, and tried kissing her goodnight. These were all things Lucy wanted, but just not from him.

She walked her way back to her apartment complex after watching Max's car leave her sight, and sighed when she walked in. She found Jackson in the living room, watching Crime documentaries and eating a slice of pizza.

"Did you save some for me?" Lucy whined, draping her arms over his neck. She stood behind the sofa, chin rested on Jackson's head.

"Ah ah, you don't get any until you've rid yourself of that dress, it's gonna need a deep cleansing if you plan on ever wearing it again." West chuckled, smacking his lips when she slapped his head.

"I shouldn't have gone, that man was practically eye-fucking my boobs the entire time." Lucy groaned, pulling herself off Jackson as she made her way to the bedroom. She quickly changed into a tank top and some flowy shorts, then sat beside Jackson, grabbing a box and placing it between them.

"You know, soon, we will be able to do this every night. Not stress about what our TO's will say, we'll just relax, and watch true crime together." Jackson smiled, turning the TV louder.

"I can't wait to have Tim off my back," Lucy smiled, kissing Jackson's forehead with his mouth full of pizza.  She giggled, removing herself from the sofa, grabbing beers from the refrigerator. She came with napkins as well, and then she threw off her slides from her feet.

The next morning, Tim's head had been pounding. He had done nothing but curse himself for yelling at Lucy, and he felt even worse about telling her to shut up.

Once finally done reminiscing, he dressed himself in a pair of black jeans, and a maroon long sleeve. He made his way out the door after eating his breakfast quickly, careful not to forget his backpack.

As he arrived, he was amused to see Lucy had already been there, her car a few from his. He smiled to himself before pulling it together, entering the station and heading to the locker room.

He quickly changed to his uniform, securely tightening his belt around his waist.

Exiting the bathroom, his face dropped to a frown as he noticed Lucy hadn't been in the bullpen.

Maybe she got here right before I did?

Around ten minutes passed, and he'd now been in the break room, preparing a coffee for himself and Lopez. He sat down beside Angela, slipping her a cup of coffee as she crossed his arms, leaning back on his chair.

"You fall back and the station will be laughing at you for weeks," Angela whispered, and the two couldn't help but giggle. Eventually, all eyes were on the two, including Grey's. Excluding Lucy's...

His smile immediately turned to a frown, watching threats of her bed.

"Sorry, sir." Angela spoke out, giving an apologetic smile. Tim rolled his eyes with a grin, nudging at her side. Talia hadn't been in today, the chair beside him empty.

"Everyone be safe out there," Grey finally announced, and the police officers began scattering.

Lucy followed after her TO, sitting beside him in the shop.

"Forgetting something?" Tim questioned, hands on the wheel.

"No?" Lucy perked, eyes on the garage door. There was a smile plastering across her face, and she couldn't wait for Tim to yell at her.

"Gear, Boot. Go." Tim barked, blocking his seatbelt.

"Sir it's.."

"Now, Boot!" Tim warned, his eyes filled with rage as she tested him.

Lucy yelled just as loud turning her entire body to face him.

"It's already there! Sir!" She barked back, her eyebrows furrowed and her lips spread slightly as she looked into his eyes.

Holy shit. The hell is this man's problem??

Tim was dumbfounded immediately, and of course, his "Alpha Male" side got to the best of him, because in the next second he was at the back of the shop, checking for all their needed equipment.

He entered the shop again, this time silent. He turned on the car, and slowly backed out of the garage to begin their shift.

He hated being tested. Being toyed with, hated people trying to mess with his head, making it seem like he's in the wrong. He knows that, Lucy does too.

Bradford eyed the girl next to him, exhaling as he turned the wheel. He noticed her fidgeting with her fingers.

"Chen, what was the color of the man's jacket three blocks back," his voice spoke out.

"There was no man with a jacket three blocks back." Lucy replied, letting go of her hands and resting her arm on the window.

Tim rolled his eyes, what the hell.

Lunch finally rolled around, and Tim was the first to hop out of the shop. He turned his own body camera off, then walked up to Chen. He turned hers off, and her crinkled eyebrows clearly indicated she was clueless.

"Hello?" She asked, waving her arms in the air.

"What's up with you, really. You wanna play with me ingeniously, then act all pissed the next second. You knew exactly what you were doing back there in the shop."

"I don't know what you're talking about, you wouldn't let me finish speaking, so I just spoke louder, something you do everyday. Then again, I wouldn't know, because I talk too much myself, right?"

Lucy raised an eyebrow, walking toward a bench.

"Is this really about me telling you that you talk to much? My God, Chen! I didn't really mean that, I only meant that you're always talking about your personal life. Do you disagree with me on that?" Tim asked, no tone of sarcasm in his voice as he sat across from her.

"I figured you'd like it better if I came in early today, and set the shop early. You always complain about me talking about my personal life, so I figured if I was quiet I couldn't bother you. Clearly that didn't help either.."

Lucy looked around, then down at her phone. She bit at her cheek.

Tim gave her a look of sympathy as she looked up, and she quickly turned her head to the tables slowly filling with people.

Her eyes began to water, and she bit harder on her cheek, it slowly starting to bleed.

"I'm sorry," she mumbled.

"What do you want," she asked finally, and watched as he arose from his seat.

"I want you to stop crying, stop picking at your nails," Tim spoke, sitting down beside her. He grabbed her hands, cupping them in his.

"And I want you to focus." He finished, looking directly into her eyes. He gave a small smile, and she reflected it.

She turned her own body camera on, then turned on his as she kept his hands on one of her hands.

"Just focus. Talk to m as much as you want. I don't want you to feel as though you can't. Okay?"
