When Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen discover that their daughter, Poppy Bradford, has both ADHD and autism, their world turns upside down.
Suddenly, the loud noises that make Poppy cover her ears, the unexpected changes that leave her overwhelmed, the school calls, the struggles to concentrate and the moments when she can't explain what's wrong begin to make sense.
But knowing the reason doesn't mean knowing how to help.
Tim struggles when he can't fix his daughter's problems, and Lucy feels helpless when nothing she tries seems to work. Desperate for advice, they turn to Angela Lopez, Wesley Evers and Nyla Harper.
Together, they must learn how to navigate Poppy's diagnosis, support her through difficult days and remind her that she will never be too much to love.
Because Poppy doesn't need her parents to change who she is. She needs them to understand her.
