It was 9:30 in the morning a young girl was continuously roaming around worried in her house! Her mocks result were about to be released at 10 am sharp and she was scared not just scared very very scared!!
"Aani please kuch kare mujhe gayab krde apke ye chote baba meri jan lelenge please" Emaan spoked talking to her aani!
She was her caretaker she use to work at her dadi's house back in Islamabad since her father was young! When her brother and her were forced to move out of that house she was very young just 7 years old that is why the only person she was closest to decided to tag along.
Khadija bibi moved with Arhan because she knew he was young and wont be able to take care of his sister! He did not have any money to pay her still she wanted to take care of the young children.
She loved both of them took care of both of them and stood by their side even when they had nothing! And now arhan was the youngest self made billionaire of the city! He was filthy rich but still him and his sister emaan respected their aani like a mother.
"Jab wo kheta ha ke parhlo, tab to tumse nhi parha jata or jab result ki bari ati ha to rona shuru krdeti hu pata wo parhai ko lekar kitna sakht (strict) haa tab bhi."Aani replied!
"Aaani please is dafa bachale paka finals me parhungi bhot datnge phone bhi lelenge, Allah mujhe sooch sooch kr chakar arahe haa."
"Acha ha bahe tumhe bhi daat parhe humne to khabhi nhi dekha ladli princess ko daant parte jis hisab se tum parahi thi na paka fail ho is bar too maza ayega bhai jaan ka reaction dekhne me!" Her cousin Ali entered the house and spoke teasing her!
"Khuda ka wasta ha ali chup krjaou meri dar se jan jarahi ha mujhe paka pata ha me maths me fail hu wo is bar tution lagwadenge patanhi konsi moti teacher ko bula kr leaynge phele ki taraha!" Emaan poured her frustration out!!
Emaan and ali were best buddies even though ali was 5 years older than her but he was the first friend she had! Even after alot of time arhan asking her to call him bhai she never did she never could.
They were best friends partners in crime and all the mischief! Ali's entire family lives in Islamabad but because Ali wants to study medicine in Karachi he was staying in karachi he stays in hostel but he visits them almost everyday.
"Tum ne us bichari khatoon (women) ko bhi bhaga dia tha drame krke sirf isliye kyu ke wo tumhe pasand nhi thi bachpan se tumhe maths se masla ha bhai jaan parhate ha to rona shuru krdeti ho! Bhot bolrahi thi na is bar bhot achi tayari ha bhot acha paper hua ha ruko beta bs 15 min aur!" Ali replied!
Emaan was in 7 standard when she flunked in maths! Much to her dismay arhan hired a female tution teacher because he cant a trust a male without his presence and he was never home.The lady was very nice but apparently she was to old to be a teacher that is why emaan did all the dramas she could and Arhan had to fire her.
Everytime Arhan use to teach her a little scolding and she starts crying her heart out the only thing Arhan could never ever tolerate was her sister's tears so he always dropped the studying plan.
Every year a day before a her final exam Arhan use to teach her ignoring her tantrums that is how she passed all the years but this time she told him she was prepared and she have studied online Arhan trusted her but in reality it was just a escape from him! And now its time for result she is sure she is gonna fail again.
"Emaan wese bhai ab tk aye nhi hamesha to wo result se phele ajate ha sirf aye ek time ke jab tumhe office bula kr danta tha! Kia maza aya hoga kash me hota us waqt!!" Ali added!!
"Beta result ke liye bula kr nhi daanta tha mene test paper chupa dia unhone poocha tha to mene khedia tha abhi mila nhi leken school walo ne unhe email krdi thi wo pura din busy they isliye gahr nhi askte the or gussa itna zor ka aya tha ke control nhi kar parahe the isliye driver sath office bulaya tha or wahan pe daanta tha puri meeting ko late krke! Phir whan pe corner me bithwa kr wohi test 20 times likhwaya tha!! Emaan cringed remembering the incident almost 5 years ago!!
Arhan was the best brother anybody can ask for his sister wants something he will get it right away no matter what time and condition it is! He always pampered her a like a true princess but it is only studies he never ever compromised on he always wanted best results he expected his sister to have that.
Arhan never in once in his entire life yelled at her or even ever raised his voice but still the thing she most feared was her brother's scoldings.
"Arhaan baba ki koi bhot important meeting ha isliye shayed wo time se nhi aynge!" It was aani who replied to ali's first question.
It was now 10 am! And the results loaded! Emaan had total 5 subjects in total she scored an A* on the english paper rest were 2 As and 1 B on accounts and the most dreaded was D on maths paper! D was not a fail but to her brother it was nothing less than a fail.
"Me gai me margai Allah finals se phele teen mahine tak wo moti teacher rakhwa denge Allah mera jhoot bhi pakra jaygaa mujhe bachale Allah mia please kuch krdee!" She started ranting as soon as she saw the result.
She was crying and in between her phone pinged!!
"Proud of you! Don't worry right now we will talk later! Eat your food now!" It was her brother he was a man of few words but his few words were enough to calm his sister's rapid heart beat he knew she was hungry as she skipped the breakfast.
His message did nothing to her tension because she can clearly sense the meaning behind talk later it wont be any kind of conversation! It would be in his study where he will dictate the law and she will be forced to obey! She was little happy after reading i am proud of you! Her brother always calmed her down.
"Chalo emaan nashta kro nhi to aur ziyada daant paregi chalo ajaou ali tum bhi aou! Itna acha result ha sirf ek me hi masla haina wo arhan krdega theek ajaou ab!" Aani spoke!!
Ali took her in one handed hug grinned and said "proud of you alooo!" Aloo was her nickname only ali use to call her aloo because as a child she was obsessed with potatoes!!
They headed to breakfast table and had their first meal of the day!!
