Previously: Rose was deep in thought, so deep that she was drowning out her friend's saying her name over and over again. She only snapped out of it due to the feeling of Vera kissing her on the lips. Her eyes widened as her body became rock hard and got ready to fight. She pushed her off and stood up. "You asked me the question. If you didn't want the honest answer. Then don't ask." She left the bath and Vera rushed after her. "Hey, I'm sorry!" "Fuck off." Rose left the sauna room with her wrath realm outfit. Vera looked back at Alyssa as if she fucked up. "Just let her cool off. She's got more stress on her shoulder than we first thought." Vera sighed softly as she turned to return to the pool.

Rose left the place and kicked a light post really hard. It was permanently dented. She made upset grunts of frustration. "Who am I kidding, I can't relax with the burden of a entire kingdom weighing down on me." She sat down on a bench and hung her head in sadness. Tears of magic fell from her eyes. A cat leaped up on the bench beside Rose. She jolted at the sound of a cat meowing. She didn't scream though. She grabbed her shirt and took a deep breath. "You scared me. Damn, you are so adorable." "Thank you, my lady." "Ahhh! You talk!?" He expected her to scream this time. "The name's Oboras. I'm the cat God that presides over this realm." "Cat God?" "Indeed. My master is the Reaper of Sloth." The cat had Black fur with gold specks. Sapphire blue eyes with golden rings. Has a long black metallic devil tail with an arrow tip that was on fire. Short golden Oni horns coming from their head that were on fire. Their cat claws are black and they were emitting azure flames as he stood there on the bench. "May I pet you, Oboras?" He got closer and she stroked his head and back gently. "I don't really want to go back inside. Do you mind guiding me to the nearest tavern? I need a drink." He nodded his head and leaped off the bench. She stood up and dried her eyes with her sleeve.

As she walked down the paved path she was stared down by all sorts and types. But as soon as they saw the cat Oboras they averted their gaze. She had her hand sin her jacket pockets as she looked around at the port town. It was full of pirates, deck hands, and shady looking characters. The scent of the ocean on the horizon reached her nose. As they reached a clearing she saw the clear blue ocean and the docks in the distance. "Wow! It's so pretty here!" The blazing sun didn't feel warm against her skin but the breeze was cool and refreshing.

As they got closer to the docks she began to hear cheering, people dancing, music playing, people drunkenly singing, as they consumed booze. The building in the middle of the docks was named,"The Mermaid's Tale." Everyone around the entrance and on the docks were not as threatening looking and more cheerful. Ships were being built and repaired. Rose heard all sorts of accents and languages being spoken. Which was a first since everyone in this mortal plane spoke English. At least to her, but she probably has an ability regarding Mind Lock that allows her to speak and hear her preferred language. But to everyone she's speaking the common language of the world.

Oboras went through the cat door and Rose followed his lead and pushed open the front door. She stepped into the tavern. Her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting and her night vision activated slightly. Booths, tables and chairs were filled to the brim. This place was very busy and popular. It didn't seem to have a second floor on the outside but as she looked up. There were several hundred floors going upwards. No one paid attention to her, she had her hood up. She approached the bar from the side. "What will it be, lass?" She held out a soul she won from the tournament and said,"Something strong." He grabbed the soul and ate it. He set down a tankard in front of her. "Dragon-breath." She grabbed the handle and took a huge gulp. Her entire throat and stomach burned. She exhaled and some smoke and azure hellflames came out of her mouth. "Whoa!" He smirked slightly and then went back to taking orders. She glanced over at the performance that was happening. Her foot began to tap to the beat. "This is what I call relaxation." She gulped down more of the fiery drink. She licked her lips satisfied. "I guess I'm addicted to the chaotic and messy atmosphere." She walked towards the staircase but was tripped by a mean looking thug. She fell forward but then rolled and recovered her footing. She sprung up and downed the rest of her drink. "Excuse me, you seemed to have tried to trip me?" He grumbled deeply as he reached for his claymore on his back. "Damn, Cursed One." He was a inferno orc and his runes on his body began to light up with magic.
