Previously: Vlad sat there in front of Rose as she talked about her old world. "What's this thing called a cellphone?" "Well you see it's a complex brick of electricity and technical parts that allows people to talk from miles away. And among other things." He scratched his beard looked at her curiously. He was completely baffled by this development of information. There's no way he can let her die now. This kind of stuff can change the entire world for the better. "Like what else can you do with such a revolutionary device? It doesn't use magic to operate but electricity?" She laughed nervously,"You can listen to music, watch videos, take pictures and tons of other things. Magic doesn't exist in my old world, but technology was very similar in the same sense. We could create anything we desired and had things delivered to our house of residence quite easily. Technology created many things, cellphones, delivery organizations that use self piloting drones, food printers that solved world hunger. They created space travel and even colonized on Mars, the Moon and several hundred more planets...." Rose starts to drift off to sleep, she falls backwards. Vlad warped and caught her just in time.

Vladimir smirked slightly as he held her close to his chest. "She's now's priceless to me. Her outer world knowledge has just made her a person of infinite interest. We both died and were reborn into the people we are are today. She was a ruthless warrior just like me, she lost comrades and understands the feeling of internal and external suffering. We aren't so different. I'll make sure you get home safe, my little Rose." He laid her head down on a comfy pillow and cover up with a thick blanket.

The next morning Rose woke up to the feeling of the warm sun hitting her skin from the open window. She sat up and yawned softly as she rubbed her eyes. She glanced over at the window and saw Vlad sitting in the window. He was watching the people down below, clean up the path to the Shogun's castle. "Good morning, Vlad." He turned his head and looked her way with a such gentle look in his eyes, that her body instantly relaxed. "Morning." "He didn't call me brat? His eyes are so calming to look into and his dark aura isn't seeping out either. It seems like we are good terms now." She smiled warmly at him as she felt heart rate spike with overwhelming happiness. "That bird girl dropped off some more comfortable clothes for you to wear. Something about you looking the part of a real mercenary." She got up from the ground and walked over to check out the clothes. She went to take off her current clothes but then stopped herself. "I'll make myself scarce, say my name when you are ready." He turned into bats and flew out of the window.

A/N~ Mercenary Rosetta: Skintight bodysuit underneath their clothes. Crimson red jean jacket with golden rose embroidered on the back. Crimson red jean pants with gold buttons and zipper, they are tucked into their red leather boots with black soles and spikes on the bottom. They have both two Katanas holstered on their back in a X formation. Dragon Azure Legendary sword on her right hip in a presence eraser black leather holster

Rose spun around looking confident and comfortable with her new threads. She walked over towards the window and looked at the city outside the castle walls. She didn't have time to admire the view from up high before. She was curious how it looked from the rooftop. She vaulted out of the window and propelled herself up to the roof tiles. She landed gracefully next to Vlad, he was in a crouching position. "What are you doing up here?" She smiled widely at the sight of the bright sun in the sky and how beautiful the entire kingdom looked from the rooftop. "Don't mind me. I'm just admiring the beautiful view."  He glanced up and saw her new cool outfit, he stood up and said smirking smugly,"Look at that, you actually look like a professional killer. And no longer a thief or a criminal." She laughed at his snarky remark. "You don't look too bad yourself. Even more so for an old man." He growled deeply at her rude comment. She smirked and giggled playfully. He chuckled softly amused by her gutsy and bold words. "You are lucky you are intriguing to me, or I would have easily killed you." She stood up and smirked unfazed by his threats. "Yeah, sure you would. I would have gave you hell until my last breath." He glanced over to see she was practically glowing brightly with unstoppable confidence. "What a pain, damn brat." She continued to smile. He scoffed and seeped into her shadow. She heard his voice in her head. "Why did you do that, Vlad?" "I don't want to socialize or interact with anyone down there. Enjoy and explore to your hearts content. I'll be here to help and protect you when needed." She smiled happily at his comforting words. She wasn't alone anymore. They were truly on the same page and were acting like more personal as of they were comrades.

Rose stepped out and dropped off the rooftop, her body fell towards the ground below very fast. Two spirals of continuous moving wind slowed down her descent down. She landed graciously and the continued to walk forward into the direction of the giant cloud city. Cherry blossoms petals rained down from the sky, she stopped and held out her hands with a bright shine in her hazel green eyes.

Rose offered to help several people but they just rejected her kindness and ran away screaming out in fear. She sighed heavily as she lower her head in despair. Vlad wasn't sure what to say to cheer her up. He still hasn't figured out how she thinks, at least not yet. "Why are so bothered by those weaklings?" "I feel bad for losing control over my anger and bad emotions. I killed so many of the people's friends and family. Even if we are marked as heroes or something. We won't be considered good or heroic in the eyes of the family or close people of who we killed." Her response was very sound and logical, Vlad had think about his response carefully. "I understand now why you are taking it to heart. But you shouldn't care about what they think about you. They are scum and gave into the corruption to save their own skins. That kind of thing is unforgivable and disgusting. If I had my way, I would have killed everyone here who dared to reject you." She shook her head in disagreement. "I don't believe they should die just because they gave into despair and complied with the government. One who does anything to survive hell isn't considered a cowered or weak in the slightest. They are alive and the others aren't. Hiding and avoiding to fight, isn't unworthy of death. If you are alive, then you have the chance to improve yourself and maybe even pick up arms for the sake of others." She went to say something else but then her stomach growled. "All that talking made me hungry." "Your way of thinking and reasoning is most definitely from another world. But you are the only one who has the rights to disagree with me and live. Consider yourself lucky, brat." "Lucky, huh? I'm too hungry to argue with you, old man." He growled deeply in both of her ears. "Do you want to die, brat?" "Maybe after I eat we can test out my new sword." "You really are testing my patience." "Hell yeah, I am. I really want to fight against you again." He scoffed aggravated. "You really do have a death wish?"

Rose gets offered food by a food merchant. Vladimir seeps out of her shadow and grabs the red apple. He crushes is as he growled deeply like a wild animal. "How dare you try and poison her with your dirty tricks!" He goes to kill the frightened man but Rose advise against it. He halts inches away from decapitating his head with just his monsters claws. "Tch, why are defending this insect?" "He's not worth our time, I appreciate your assistance but if he has poison magic then he must taste pretty bad as well." He didn't think about it that way but he is glad she pointed it out. "I guess you have a point." She sighed softly as she walked away from the man and back towards the castle up ahead.

But she is stopped by Samurai soldiers. She goes to speak but one of them thrusts their spear her way with intent to kill. She killed their comrades and childhood friends. Seraphina drops down and lands on the spear head. She protects Rose from being killed swiftly. The soldiers halt and bow their heads in the presence of the current princess.  "Come on my dear, we have many things to talk about." Sera escorts Rose inside and mentions something about sparing her to test her overall strength. Rose goes to reject her request but it seems it wasn't a optional thing to decline but in fact a demand.

Rose was yanked out of the way of a very deadly explosive magical kick. She hit the ground hard but she wasn't concerned about her own safety. She screamed out Vlad's name worried. He held his ground but her explosion magic was his element counter. He scoffed annoyed by how powerful her attack was, he didn't expect that she was this strong.  There was only one way that she was so powerful and he didn't like the thought. It caused his blood to boil with rage.
