The vytal tournament starts tomorrow and I am excited to help host the tournament with dr.oobleck

And I have been in contact with willow and she has given me some leads to help bring jaqués down, but at the moment I am unable to follow them since I am busy with the tournament

Ruby and Yang are excited for it and Weiss is a little nervous I don't really know how Blake feels since she is always quiet it's hard to get a read on her

Time skip next day

The vytal tournament is finally upon us and me and dr.oobleck are about to initiate the tournament
*I couldn't find a script of something to really go off so I'm doing this from memory*

Hello and welcome everyone I am your co- host y/n rose or otherwise known as the black reaper

Oobleck: and I am the other co-host dr.oobleck

tuning in to watch the vytal tournament from amity colosseum, if you are new to the tournament here let me explain the rules for today there are going to be two teams fighting each other in the arena where age or experience does not matter, the ways to win are to deplete your opponents aura or knock them out of the ring very simple

Oobleck: today are the team fights first up is team ABRN from haven academy

Versus team RWBY from beacon academy
Now we will let the biomes be picked, first is ice and the second is fire

Oobleck: everyone leave in a calm and orderly fashion

After that I decide to go see team RWBY and congratulate them on their win

I head to their dorm but don't see them there so I go back out to the courtyard and see two people fighting
I walk closer to help end the fight.... wait a minute is that qrow? fighting winter?!
What is he doing here? And why is he fighting winter? I quickly make my way over to the two fighters and use my scythe to catch qrows scythe in mine and use the back part to block winter

Qrow: y/n? What are you doing here?

Random person: OMG ITS THE BLACK REAPER!
There seems to be an uproar of the crowd

Well qrow I am a professor here now, and you winter how could you let your emotions get the better of you? I trained you better

Winter: I'm sorry y/n I don't know what came over me

Well it doesn't matter now ironwood makes his way over to us

Ironwood: schnee what is wrong with you? I expect better behavior from one of atlas' finest

Winter: I'm sorry sir

Ozpin: now everyone, if you wanted to watch a fight you could go right around the corner to a sanctioned one that has popcorn

We as a group return to ozpins office along the way qrow decides to speak to me

Qrow: how long have you been a professor here?

I started part way through this year since port decided to retire

Qrow: port retired?! I thought he would die teaching since he taught us too

That's what I thought

Qrow: but why did you decide to start teaching? Is it because a certain schnee is here?

Actually no I didn't know she was here when I accepted the position

Qrow: I doubt it

We eventually make our way into ozpins office and start discussing matters

Qrow: what part of behind closed doors did you not get James

Ironwood: subtly wasn't working anymore qrow, we need to be prepared for what is to come because of your intel we know the person responsible for ambers condition is here and I intend to stop them

Qrow: well I don't think a single man can do it alone

Ironwood: maybe not, but that's why I brought an army

Ozpin: and a large army shows we expect something to attack the question is now how formidable will this opposition will be since the army is so large

Ironwood: the people will feel safe with atlas protecting them

Ozpin: but an army shows we are expecting something to attack, now a guardian would bring safety and comfort not an armed force from an opposing kingdom brings even more negative emotions which bring grim

After the little meeting I decide to seek out winter and Weiss assuming that winter would go see her little sister

I find them in a secluded area with a nice table and tea

Weiss: d- y/n no how about you join us?

Winter: hm y/n Weiss has told me you started teaching here, how long ago did you start here?

Well I joined part way through the year since a previous professor decided to retire

Winter: so you are going to remain teaching here for the foreseeable future

I plan to at least for a couple of years, at least until my nieces graduate and become huntresses; maybe then I'll take a year to help them get started and go on their first missions

Winter: are you going to give the same courtesy to Weiss?

Of course she's my dau- one of my pupils

Winter: what were you going to say? It sounded a lot like you were going to say daughter there y/n do you have anything you would like to say?

Well, I think it might be time to tell you the truth winter Weiss does not share the same father as you and Whitley, Weiss is actually my child

Winter: knew it

What do you mean?

Winter: well her features are definitely different from mine and Whitleys so that most Likely meant that someone else fathered Weiss and it just so happens that a huntsmen comes in and saves us from a whitefang splinter cell when we were unable to call any authority. And you did train us I saw how you looked at Weiss, with fatherly love; I don't mean you didn't put any care and love into training me it was just more noticeable with Weiss and it now all makes sense

Wow winter I guess you did learn something at atlas academy

Winter: well I tried, but I must be leaving back to atlas. Goodbye Weiss and goodbye y/n

Weiss: love you winter, bye

Bye winter be safe

Winter: I always am y/n

I kind of found it weird how much I jumped around in this chapter and I'm sorry for that, I think I'm going to rework this chapter later on
