Chapter four

I left atlas and went on more missions where they specifically requested the assistance of the rose of death my newest title given for my ferocity in battle against the grim and criminals who would  harm the innocent. Back to the mission I was to help escort a medical supply convoy through a dangerous patch of area to a remote village to help their sick and injured it was going good until we were attacked by the branwen tribe I had to kill some of them unfortunately; would raven or qrow be mad at me? Most likely not, damn I kind of want to go see my sister and how the married couple are doing; they all should be on patch unless they went on missions, I should definitely go visit them after this mission. After the ambush we successfully repelled the attackers and got the medical supplies to the village and saved multiple people they were so thankful and I was more than happy to help people in need.

Once the mission was over I got on a train to vale and then a bulkhead to patch where I went to give the three a surprise visit, I went to summers home first and found no-one she must have went on a mission I thought, next I went to raven and tai's home I knocked on the door and raven opened the door
Raven: hey y/n haven't seen you in a hot minuet how have you been

Good, how have you been? Also do you know where summer went? I wanted to surprise her
Raven: I have been doing fine, she went on a mission with tai they should return in less than a week I think; also I have some news that will shock you, come in
*we walk inside and take a seat*

You do? Then tell me
Raven: well... I'm pregnant and me and tai discussed this, we want you as our child's godparent

I- I I'm speechless your pregnant and you want me to be the godparent? I must be going crazy, I thought you never wanted kids?
Raven: yes that was true until I met the right guy and yes we would want for you to accept

I would be honored to by your child's godparent raven that means so much to me
Raven: thank you it means so much to me and to tai we have been friends for son long it felt like a no brainer to have one of our bestest friends to be our child's godparent

That warms my heart.
Just then I got a call from my scroll from Ozpin
Sorry raven I have to take this
Raven: is it Ozpin?

Raven: have fun then

Ozpin: y/n I need for you to report to beacon immediately
Ok oz what's the need for urgency
Ozpin: I will tell you when you arrive
Ok I'll be there soon
*timeskip 1 hour to beacon
As I make my way to Ozpins office I look around beacon and see how little it has changed granted it's only been like 2 or 3 years since we graduated but still it feels so long ago
I finally made it to ozpin's office
Ozpin: y/n I'm glad you made it please take a seat
Ok, what's this about ozpin?
Ozpin: since tai and summer went on a mission and are unavailable right now I need you for a mission that must remain a secret

Is it about HER?
Ozpin: I'm afraid I have the slightest clue as of now all we know is that the concentration of grim in that area is unnatural and the cause needs to be investigated and put an end to, can I trust you to do that for me?
Of course you can I'll have it done
Ozpin: thank you y/n a bulkhead is outside to take you to your location best of luck

Ozpin: I hope so

I get on the bulkhead and make my way to the destination and get off in a remote area between kingdoms I believe it was called mount Glenn Ozpin said there was a high concentration of grim but I don't see any, was he wrong? No that couldn't be he's never wrong.
Suddenly I was knocked to the ground by a unknown force
Unknown: hmm what do we have here? It looks like a silver eyed warrior looks like I get
to kill today

What? I thought there were grim?
Unknown man: maybe someone falsified the alarm or count, hmmm who would do such a thing?

Who are you?
Unknown man: that won't matter soon when you meet your end nothing will matter

If you don't tell me who you are and get away and disengage then you will regret that comes next.

Once I got up I finally got a good look at the man, he was about my age maybe a bit younger he was a scorpion Faunus evident by his scorpion stinger

Unknown man: well since you are going to be dead soon I mind as well tell you the name of the man who will best and end you, my name is Tyrian

Strong words coming from a man who hasn't seen me fight yet
Tyrian: oh I have I have been tracking and studying you for a long time silver eyed warrior I just need a opportunity to arise and this was it

I think you are underestimating me
As I say this I grab sand a throw it into his eyes temporarily blinding him so I could get my weapon and get into a stance
Tyrian: you bastard using cheap tricks
Says the one who blindsided me
Tyrian: touché

We clash weapons and I can instantly tell he is strong this fight might be tougher than I thought we clash and clash over and over trading fire from a distance as well I'm almost out of aura when he comes in for a slash I duck right before it connects and manage to trip him with the end of my scythe causing him to face plant and use the blunt end to knock him out I call a bulkhead to pick me up and so I can apprehend this man

*a good sized horse of grim arrive*
Crap I guess I have to fight for my life again, time to make quick work of you lot, I hack and slash for what feels like hours it could damn well have been since the bulkhead didn't come until their sensors confirmed the grim were clear once I finally cleared most of the grim the bulkhead finally comes, during that time I try to find that deranged man and see he has disappeared he must have awoken and slipped away when I was fighting the grim

I make it back to beacon and debrief Ozpin on the mission
There were a sizable amount of grim there, but there also was a man there who said he was hunting me specifically; he also mentioned my silver eyes, Ozpin this means SHE is hunting silver eyed warriors again that means me and summer are in danger

Ozpin: yes it appears so keep an eye and ear out for any suspicious people lurking, this is the most I can do without intruding into your lives since I cannot read minds I can't predict or know a persons intentions; I hope you understand and forgive me

Of course I do just that man has me on edge now I'll try to stay safe now I'm going to see my sister, see you Ozpin
Ozpin: y/n?
Yes Ozpin?
Ozpin: stay safe out there I would never forgive myself if you or summer were to pass away

Of course Ozpin do you know who you are talking to?
Ozpin: of course I'm just worried
