I rush outside to see a bulkhead next to a roof and some people fighting on a rooftop I rush over to assist and take down the bad guy when I notice something
I recognize that weapon and cloak; that must be ruby what is she doing in vale this late?
And why is she fighting a well dressed guy?
I get to the roof to assist my niece when I see goodwitch coming as well
Goodwitch: y/n pleasure seeing you again
Immediately after she uses her semblance to help ruby and damage the bulkhead

Well dressed man: we got a huntress and huntsmen

A women dressed in red walks to the side of the bulkhead to attack us so they can escape she uses fire to suppress us me and ruby dodge and start firing with our weapons in sniper configuration, but it looks like we aren't doing much damage to the bulkhead unfortunately

But then glynda starts to beat the ever living crap out of the bulkhead and they eventually get away, which is a victory and defeat since we didn't catch the criminals but ruby stopped them from stealing anything; I'm so proud of my niece she's so much like her mother, god I miss my sister so much

Glynda took me and ruby to the police department
Glynda: y/n that was irresponsible letting her do that

Hey I didn't know she was there I was at a bar not with her
Glynda gives me a hard stare

Glynda: I can't believe this, I would expect this from qrow not you y/n

Glynda walks into the interrogation room that is about when I zoned out until ruby squealed about her getting into beacon

I wait until Ozpin walks outside the room and I approach him

What are you scheming Ozpin?
Ozpin: nothing y/n ruby just has shown herself to be ahead in combat abilities; I assume from your training

I know this isn't the answer I'm searching for, but I will let it slide for now Ozpin, please just promise she won't get hurt

Ruby walks outside of the interrogation room
Ruby: uncle y/n did you hear that? I'm going to beacon this year

Ruby: you know that means I'm going to beacon two years ahead I think I might be better than you THE black reaper

I wouldn't get so far ahead of yourself ruby, you just got a head start that's all you may be going to beacon earlier than me, but does that mean you are more skilled than me?

Time skip a month
Ruby and Yang are heading off to beacon now they promised to fill me in about their courses and their teams when they get them that is

I won't be able to be here to hear about it since Ozpin requested me to go spy on Salems operations in vale and other areas surrounding the kingdom; I hope she hasn't gotten her claws to deep into the heart of this kingdom
