Chapter nine

After I left the raven and the branwen tribe I decided on heading back to patch to see the xiao-long house hold since it's getting close to Christmas time.... Hmmm maybe I'll discretely give the Schnees a visit especially since I heard Willow had another child with her husband; I do care for them all even if they aren't all my children, I guess it's just since I feel so bad for not being able to help them with their mistreatment from willows husband

I make my way towards atlas and decide to stop at a shop to get the four gifts I decided to get the three girls some hair bands and the littlest one; named Whitley a stuffed animal I fly towards the estate with the bag in one of my talons I see they all are inside so I drop the bag by the door and knock hard then I fly away and perch in a tree

Winter opens the door and looks for anyone at the door once she doesn't she looks down and see the gift bag addressed to them all she brings it inside and gives it to willow reads out the note for each gift and then passes them out to each of them, since her husband apparently is too busy for Christmas it was safe to drop the gifts off without raising suspicion

After I see them open their gifts and put them on I start to fly away to return to patch to get them gifts as well

I once again stop by a store and pick out gifts for each person maybe even qrow will be there I'll get him one too just in case

I got summer some more magazines for her weapon and dust cartridges
I got tai another pair of vambraces since he is a brawler after all
I got qrow a cape since he always made fun of me and summer for our cloaks, I think this one will be funny
The gift I got for Yang was a orange scarf for the colder seasons
And lastly I got ruby a toy to play with
And since I like to think I'm the favorite uncle between me and qrow I got a assortment of candy and other sweets for yang and ruby
Hopefully this last gift doesn't make summer and tai mad at me

I finally arrive at patch and I knock at the door summer opens it and gives me a hug
Summer: merry Christmas y/n I'm so happy to see you here with us

Of course I wouldn't miss this for the world
Summer: hey uh did you get any presents for you know
Yeah I did even for winter and her youngest Whitley
Summer: that's great y/n

Summer: Yang Ruby look who came to see you two

Just then I hear light and fast footsteps running to the door
Yang: who is it mom?
She and ruby finally see it's me
Yang and ruby: uncle y/n! uncle y/n! What did you get us, what did you get is!
Summer: hey don't be rude like that young ladies
Yang and ruby: sorry mom

Yang and ruby it's fine I did get you two gifts also, I got one for all of you summer tai and uncle qrow included
Summer: awe y/n that's so sweet

Hey you all are my family this is what we are supposed to do on Christmas

*we go inside and I hand out the gifts to all of them*

Surprisingly qrow was here so I could give him his gift it is wrapped so he looks at me quizzically I give him a smirk in return
Qrow: y/n if it isn't liquor then I don't think it was a good gift for me

Just wait qrow you will love it I promise
Ok everyone you can open your gifts

I decided to keep the bag of sweets until the end so I could give it to ruby and yang and make a quick exit before tai or summer could harm me
They all open their gifts qrows I watched especially since I wanted to see his reaction
Qrow: ha ha ha really funny y/n you think you are some kind of comedian

I do indeed just wait to the surprise later
Qrow:ok?
Summer: should this surprise be anything I should be concerned about?
No no, so summer how did you like your gift
Summer: like it I love it y/n thank you so much

Of course summer, ruby Yang did you like your gifts?

Yang: of course uncle y/n I love it a lot I'm going to wear it all the time

Ruby: I love it I'm going to play with this everyday

Well I'm glad to hear that, tai? Did you like yours?

Tai: yes I have been meaning to go out and replace or repair my old ones, but these are a lot better than my old ones thanks y/n

Of course they are better quality because I did get them from atlas

After an hour or two of festivities I decide to give yang and ruby their last gift

Hey yang ruby come here I got one last gift for the two of you

Yang: ok come on ruby let's go open it
Ruby:ok!

They open the bag and their eyes widen to see how much sweets are inside the bag they both rush over to me and give me a hug
Yang and ruby: thank you uncle y/n

It's the least I could do, but with that note I think I should be going it's getting late

Summer: ok y/n love you, hey yang what did uncle y/n get you two?

Yang: he got a bunch of candy and sweets

Summer snaps her head towards me and I can feel the anger already
Summer: you did what y/n!?

Uhh I think I should be heading out bye guys have a good night
I use my semblance to quickly escape the wraith of my sister and head to my own cabin

Once I made it to my cabin I thought about maybe raven did the same thing for Yang like I did for Weiss maybe? I doubt it if I am honest, but I hope she did.
