Chapter 12

I have been investigating the white fang for about a year and 3 months, I have taken a week or so once in a while to see ruby and Yang for their birthdays and other holidays, I have also kept an eye on Weiss and winters training, I'm currently monitoring and dismantling operations in vacuo for some time I have mostly dismantled the ones in atlas/mantle and mistral; well the violent splinter groups not the peaceful protesters I actually helped protect one of these protests from a violet human protest that countered the faunas one in mistral I luckily didn't have to kill anyone, I just defended the Faunus until the police arrived

I have made minor success with destroying the white fang, but I haven't been able to find any more leads I'm really close to moving on to vale because there hasn't been any white fang activity in vacuo in a while hopefully that's for good

I'm returning to my safe house to rest for the night when I get a call on my scroll, I look and see it's willow
They must need my help so I answer
Hey willow
Willow: hey y/n, can I ask a favor of you?
Of course, what is it?

Willow: well jaqués has been following how you have been eliminating the white fang and wants you to help train winter and Weiss, since he thinks they have outgrown their trainers

I make my way to atlas to help train the two sisters I arrive at the schnee manor and I am greeted with their butler

Butler: hello mr.rose, we have a room set up for your stay here

Klein: dinner is in an hour thirty please get groomed and dressed for it

Klein: there are outfits in the closet to your right, not just for dinner, but also training and casual wear

Klein leaves the room I decide to get dressed so I open the closet and look for something to wear I decide on an all black suit that complements my cloak; yes I decided to wear it to dinner; yes some people might think it's tacky, but I think it's badass so sue me

The time comes for dinner so I make my way downstairs to the dinning hall to have dinner with the family

Jaqués: hello mr. Rose I'm glad to see you accepted the offer to help train my daughters

Of course sir, it would be my honor to help train the famous schnee family

Jaqués: of course winter is more advanced than Weiss is, but that is only because of the age difference, besides that they should get about the same amount of intensity while training

Of course sir I will be very attentive and make them the best they can be or I'm not the black reaper

Jaqués: I'll hold you up to that

Willow: I'm glad you could help train out daughters especially since you helped save us before

Jaqués: right right I forgot all about that, thank you for saving my family

Well I was walking the streets and found some sketchy people hiding in an alleyway so I followed them her and dealt with them accordingly

Eventually dinner ended, during it I got to meet the three children, I learned that Weiss got the schnee semblance and not the rose semblance, that would have been hard to explain if it was the other way around

Next day
I wake up at 8 in the morning to help train the two I go to the backyard and find winter and Weiss already waiting sparing with each other I watch them spar until winter comes out on top

Good job winter good job
Winter: thank you sir

Please just call me y/n calling me sir makes me feel old

Winter: of course

Please don't be so formal, the relationship between a master and their pupils should not be formal but a personal one built on trust and I hope to earn that from the both of you

Weiss: I still can't believe we are being trained by THE black reaper

Well you better start believing because it's happening young girl, and if you listen to me and follow my instructions you someday will be as good as me maybe even better than

Winter: question since you wield a scythe and both of us use sabers how are you going to teach us to effectively utilize our weapons

Well great question, you see I'm not only a scythe wielder *I turn my scythe into the sword form* I also a great swordsman; I just don't use my sword form as often as my scythe since the scythe is cooler to me at least

Weiss: that's amazing
