An: I changed some of the text and story a tiny bit in the last chapter so you should probably re read at least the last half

After I wake up with a bad headache I recall what happened last night
Man I definitely should not have tried to out drink qrow, I think he's a professional at it now

Besides my bad headache I decided to go give Ozpin a visit to discuss things with him and to see if he could help me

Timeskip to being in ozpins office

Ozpin: good to see you y/n may I ask why you are here?

Good to see you too Ozpin, I have came to ask to help in your battle in exchange for a gift

Ozpin: and what might that be?

I would like you to give me the ability to turn into a bird like you did to qrow and raven

Ozpin: I'm afraid I don't think that would be a good idea

I would like to track down raven and figure out her motives and why she did what she did

Ozpin: that is a very convincing story y/n but you should know by now that you can't hide everything from me

Ok ok, that is one of the reasons yes, but there is another one; I had a child with someone and since it's for the best I can't be in the lives for now I would like to be able to watch over them

Ozpin: may I ask the name of the women and the child

Ozpin: Schnee as in the dust company

Yes Ozpin yes, the child's name is Weiss Schnee

Ozpin: why would you need to watch over the Schnee family? I thought they were very well off since they do have their own dust company

Well yes that's true but I think willows husband isn't the best man there is and I just want to protect them
Also don't forget that you lost an informant since raven left so I could fill that position Ozpin

Ozpin: hmm you are correct, ok I'll do it but you have to promise me something

Ozpin: you have to promise you will find time for it all; yourself, your family, hunting raven, and keeping an eye on salems activities,ok?

Ozpin: I think the best bird species of bird you would be able to turn into would be the white owl since they in habit cold areas and mantle and atlas are definitely one of those places; I know it's ironic that it's your sister main color and the opposite of yours, but you would blend in better

Of course that's why you are the headmaster; for your wise decisions

Ozpin: thanks y/n I'll start the process now prepare yourself it might feel a tiny bit weird and you might experience mild pain during the process

I'm ready for anything oz

Ozpin: ok then

He begins the process I feel a good amount of pain like in shrinking and my bones are rearranging; after the process is complete I see that I'm definitely smaller and I am covered in feathers

Ozpin: to turn into or out of the bird form thing of the opposite body, so if you are a bird think of your human body and you will turn, and if you are human than think of your bird body and you will transform

Ozpin: of course I advise that you either watch over your family or try to seek out raven

I think I'm going to seek out raven

Ozpin: of course, just remain safe y/n

Will do, I jump out the window and turn into my bird form to go seek out raven and find out why she betrayed her family for a group of thieves and murders

Time skip 6 months
After searching for raven and watching over willow and Weiss and visiting yang and summer and of course tai, I have found a sort of balance but it has been hard, I was walking through the forest on foot through the area because staying in the bird form for too long can be tiring I get a call from summer

Summer: y/n I have some very important news come back to patch asap

Ok ok I'm coming as fast as I can
I arrive at patch to meet summer and tai with yang in tai's arms
Hey little one how have you been?
Tai: she has been great, but that isn't what we called you for

Summer: well I'm pregnant with a girl
Your pregnant?!?? You said it's a girl what are you going to name her?
Summer: we decided to name her ruby

You are naming her after mom? That's great summer

Summer: I knew you would like that

Are you kidding I love that I'm glad you are honoring our parents legacy; and tai if you don't care for my sister and your child I will rip your beating heart out from your chest if you hurt them

Tai slowly sweats from his forehead
Tai: of course y/n I would never do such a thing

Good that's what I want to hear, you know what summer I think I'm going to stay on patch until you have little ruby and I'll stay to help just like I did when Yang was born

Thanks sis i think im going back to my home down the path ok?
Summer: ok y/n see you tomorrow?
I think im going to rest and sleep in tomorrow I have been way to busy lately
Summer: oh ok
Tai: summer cheer up he's here he's just tired I know I would be

I turn around and stare at Yang wide eyed
Summer and tai also stare at here

Summer: yes they were, after all this time trying to make her say mama and she says y/n im upset
Tai: aweeee is my little rose mad that little Yang didn't say her name first
Summer: yes yes I am *she pouts a little*
Tai kisses her on the cheek
Tai: it's ok summer your still the best mom ever
Summer : awwweeee thanks tai

Eww im going to leave y'all with all that lovey dovey stuff see y'all

Summer and tai: bye y/n
I guess this time Yang wanted to remain silent
