☰66- FERRY RIDE GONE WRONG

   I went to school, seeing and hearing about Spider-Man and how he saved the Decathlon team in Washington. I wanted to talk to Peter but he was apparently in detention. I decided to talk to him later.

   Once later came, we were supposed to be in class but as I looked around, I couldn't spot him.
   I tapped Ned's shoulder, since he was also in the class. "Where's Parker?"

   "Huh? Oh uh, sick?"

   "God, you're both the worst liars in the world." I shake my head. "Seriously, where did he go?"

   "I really don't know. I just know he went to catch the bad guy." He looks back at me.

   "The guy with wings?" I ask and he nods. "It is too early for this."

   "I know." Ned agreed with a smile. "Hey, we should talk more."

   I smile. "Yeah. You're cool Ned, hey if you see him before me tell him I'm looking for him and I want to talk."

"Okay." He says and we focus in class.

   Class continued and when it finished I hurried to the bathroom and into a stall just then the keychain buzzed rapidly which couldn't mean anything good.
I opened a portal and changed into my suit. I teleported onto a ferry, dodging some sort of lasers.

   "Hey!" I looked at Bug Boy but then the boat started breaking in half water shooting up from the crack.

I turned back to Parker. "What the hell did you do?!"

   People screamed in terror as the two sides started falling in opposite directions.

   "Oh my god. What should I do?!"

   "Nothing! You stop!" I yelled angrily and grew some seaweed, wrapping them around the boat pushing the two pieces together. But water still quickly leaked in. "It's gonna flood, I have to get everyone out of here."

   "Look Ivy Void is here to save us!" Someone cheered.

   "I can help!" He jumped, hitting all the strong points with webs but it quickly broke.

   I held the seaweed and moved up, activating megaphone. "Everyone please calm down!" I announced. "Run to the closest portal now and quickly." I used vines to help them move quickly. Opening more and more portals.

   "Thanks IV!" Someone cheered and others thanked me.

   But the seaweeds broke and so did the webs, the people that were left screamed as I teleported, opening more portals closer to the people so they could get away faster.

  "Everyone get to the highest deck, the portals will take you to safety, hurry." I teleported from every side of the boat scanning in the measurements then I put a force field around the entire boat. "Everyone take a seat now."

   I turned on the air tank and teleported under. I placed my hands and feet on the bottom of the two pieces and used all my blast energy sending the two pieces back into the air.
  I teleported back up as people cheered my name but I sat down huffing, staring at my fingers as they burned.

   "Hey Iv, Hey Spider-Man. Band practice was it?" I looked over to see Iron man. "Remove the force field. 3..2.. now."

   I did and things came to help Iron-man push the two pieces back together.

   "Yeah Iron-man!" The guy cheered and others did too.

   I let them out of their seats and opened the portals once again, helping everyone out while dad put the boat back together and Peter followed him.
