Tony eventually saw someone for his injuries and he was fine but we were spending a lot of time in the Avengers Compound, especially him, mainly to help uncle Rhodey with his physical therapy. Dad and I both worked on a pants-like machine to help Rhodey walk again, he needed help with it.
The only person who really lived there was Vision who apologized for what he did to me and I forgave him because I knew he meant me no harm.

"Thinking about Wanda?" I asked as we were playing a game of chess and he was taking his time.

"I'm sorry." He apologized and moved his piece. "Your strategy is—"

"You'll see her again, Vision, plus I know she misses you too." He looks at me and I smile before my alarm goes off.

"You're still following Steve's training routine?"

"I have to keep my training up. With or without the old guy." I get up. "Trust me about Wanda."

After training I was forced to have a meeting, well a loud lecture from Ross. I was glad that I didn't have to sign the Accords anymore because The Avenger's were no longer a real team. That and dad said I couldn't be a hero, for my safety.
Which I didn't care too much about anymore, having everything open my eyes I moved more and more to hating heroes in a type of way.

I was a bit annoyed and not really in the mood to talk to anybody, so I went to my room and saw a package on my bed. My first thought was Nat since she had to be on the run after changing sides and shocking the King of Wakanda. She also never said goodbye.
I also thought about Steve, I wasn't as mad at him now, since dad was perfectly fine but I still sort of held a little grudge especially for Barnes.

I knew that all the other Avengers and Lang were in the Raft prison so it couldn't have been from them or maybe it was and I was just being stubborn.
I mean I had sent them letters before, mainly through portals, sending Clint letters from his family. Wanda couldn't really read her letters so I would talk to her through the portal until we were caught. This was also one of those reasons that Ross yelled at me, I kept breaking rules and they couldn't do much about it to stop me except throw empty threats at me.

'Message from Theodore.' IVAA tells me.

I reached into my pocket dimension looking through the burner phone, smiling at the antique and thinking about the antique that had sent it to me a week ago.
Steve sent me a message that it was time, so I opened a portal, walking in to see him. I wasn't in the mood to talk, even if I wasn't mad at him.

"Everything is ready." I told him.

"Thanks for doing all of this." He says as we look down at the Raft. "I know you're still mad."

"I'm not mad." He tilts his head. "Okay, I am, but don't worry. I forgave you last week, I'm just a bit bitter."

   "I'm sorry."

"Yeah, yeah. Let's do this quickly, I have dinner in ten." He smiled which made me smile. "Whenever you're ready, Cap."

   "Go ahead Ivy Void."

I opened a portal and he jumped in. I followed and we beat up all the guards, going to the cells.
I helped free Wanda and Sam leaving Lang and Clint because they had taken a deal to be with their families under house arrest. I had packed bags for Steve, Sam, and Wanda so they could be on the run for a while.

"See ya, losers." I say, opening three different portals.

   "Mel, can you tell Vision—"

"Yep, already on it." I smiled and hugged her, she hugged me back tightly. "Bye."

"Bye." She was the first to step through the portal.

   "Thanks, Gremlin." Sam tells me.

I held out my fist. "One before you go?" He looked at it disgusted, making Steve and I laugh. "You know you want to. You're like the only one who hasn't gotten one."

   "Lang got one?"

   "No but he's new."

He rolled his eyes and gave me a fist bump, hugging Steve before stepping through the portal.
I closed the two and turned to Steve who was already looking at me.

"Here, I can't apologize enough so I wrote a few things down."

   "You could have texted me."

"You know I hate that." I chuckle and take the letter. "You're a good kid, Mel. And a good fighter."

"I had pretty great mentors." I hug him tightly. "I'm gonna miss you guys so much."

"We'll miss you too." He rubs my back. "Don't get into too much trouble."

"I wish." I pulled away. "Bye, Old Man."

   The blonde chuckled. "Bye, Mel."

He goes to his portal, looking at me one last time before stepping in, it closing behind him.

I sniffled and teleported back to my room, falling back on my bed, holding up the white envelope before turning to look at the box. I was confused about that so I reached over and opened it.

I saw that it was Nat's jacket with a little note. 'Since I'm not there, you can BORROW from my closet but I want everything put back cleaned. Love you, Dollface.'
I smiled and tried on the jacket, laying back and opening Steve's letter.

Mel,
I'm sorry for throwing you into a battle between sides, I never intended for you to get involved the way that you did. I admit that was my mistake. But I do have to admit, you were my most valuable fighter, I couldn't have made it out without you.
I hope you can truly forgive me and I also hope that Tony doesn't give you too much of a hard punishment for what you did for me.

I want you to know that I'm honored that you look up to me. I never thought you would, in fact I was convinced you thought I was a joke because of all the jokes and teasing you did but I guess it was just that. I always knew you would be the Avenger's greatest asset. Keep doing what's right.
I'm glad you and Tony are actually more bonded. I know you mean the world to him so give him a break. If you ever need to talk, you can call me. I won't always guarantee an answer but if you need anything I'll call back. I know I hurt you Amelia and I hope you can forgive me one day. I promise if you ever need us... need me. I'll be there for you.
   It wasn't your fault.
Steve (A.K.A, Old Man)

I smiled and scoffed, trying to hold back but it was hard to do. I placed the letter in my PD and went out to meet dad and Rhodey for dinner.

"Mel, you'll never guess what the mailman called you dad." Rhodey laughs.

"What?" I smile walking over looking at dad who playfully rolled his eyes.

   "Can you not—"

   "Tony Stank."

I laughed. "The infamous Tony Stank! I love that for you, dad."
