Mandela spent over thirty years in a prison cell
Conditions were harsh and his life was hell.
When finally he was granted his release
He united his nation and strove for peace.

Newton chanced on his discovery of gravity
Whilst lounging beneath an apple tree.
This discovery has brought changes profound,
All because he saw an apple fall to ground.
