His world was black-and-white, his surroundings muted-not deaf, but numb from grief after losing the only parent who ever stayed, his mother Dina. One day, while lost in his own world, a sudden rhythm stirred in his chest, as if a forgotten song had remembered him. He looked up, searching for its source-only to meet Angelica 'Angel' Cueshe, a nursing student seeking a quick favor for her studies. Could she be the reason his heart is beating again? And if so... how? #ONC2026

It's a normal game, people say. Not for them. 60 people get pulled into a game they've been playing for days, months, possibly years... Geometry Dash. A game where all you do is jump over spikes and make it to 100% Easy right? Wrong. Only 6 of these 60 would survive... But the question is, who will...? I religiously search for new rhymes in the day, but they only ever come running to me at night. Mostly writing about love, sometimes about the joys and pains of my foolish way of life. Always in structured rhyme, I like it old school. I started my poet career when I was 15, selling personalised poems on discord for some video game's virtual currency (or free of charge, of course, when it was for a girl I liked). Now almost 10 years later I feel the need to share again, thought I'm not sure a similar scheme would work, so here I am. Just for the sake of sharing this time. This is a compilation of all the poems I write in English (a first!), I will add them on as I enter them in allpoetry as well. When a Young Abandoned Ali-human who has never been exposed to trolls her entire life with severe wing injuries wanders into Trollstopia and needs to return to her homeland in the prairies of the wild. Poppy, Branch and their friends go embark on the quest of a lifetime to return the ali-human to its home. along the way, the young creature experiences what Love feels like for the first time with daring missions, heart-felt Moments and Tons of hugs.

what drew your attention to this book? was it the delicate red rose on the cover? ... or was it its thorns? yes, the rose is daintily alluring, but you will only notice the thorns once you take a closer look. i like to imagine my poetry as this thorned rose, my carefully arranged words as its delicate petals: its beauty seemingly pleasing from afar. however, once you take a closer look, you will gradually see the thorns: a deeper and darker meaning disguised behind enriched metaphors. looking at the rose, you would also notice how it is hand drawn, denoting the fact that my poetry might not be perfect. it is intentionally written with some incorrect grammar (for instance, how almost all words are in lowercase) to give a more raw feel in the sense of how one may write down in a personal diary. the name "the rose comes with thorns" is not only an embodiment of my poetry writing style, but also the meaning behind it. just like how everything beautiful comes with its own flaws... ...the rose shall come with its own thorns. 🥀THE ROSE COMES WITH THORNS a poetry book written by huma zafar. #1 in "poem" out of 206k stories (2/5/24) #18 in "poetry" out of 336k stories (1/6/24)

I chose to do this via poems, i chose to write online, i chose to create this book for you to read and enjoy. Welcome back to round two of madness and mischief. Yes, it's another poetry collection. Straight from the mental basement where I keep all the thoughts that probably shouldn't see daylight. Volume One was playful chaos. This one... well... let's just say the world's gotten weirder, and I've been taking notes. Are these poems fun? Sometimes. Political? Increasingly. Do I mock people? Without hesitation. Are there uncomfortable topics? Hell yes. Do I cross lines? Absolutely. Disclaimer: these are my thoughts, not a manifesto. You don't have to agree. And if you want to debate me about them - I admire your optimism, but I don't fucking care. I think everyone can live however they please, believe whatever the fuck they want, and I couldn't care less if they identify as a rubber band. The line, for me, is when your beliefs turn into you being a racist, misogynist, homophobe, anti-vaxxer, or any kind of bigot who thinks some people are worth less just for believing in the 'wrong God' or simply existing. And don't try to pull a vegan and convince others to follow your beliefs, opinions, or lifestyle. Anyway. Have fun, or not, whatever. Poems. Banana. HA!
