XXI. CORE AND BLISS

once they were out of their door, they were a bit surprised to see the president himself. they were about to gloss things out but it just turned black on them.

the daughter get on her van hoping to make it on time for her schedule. she was fumbling on her phone the whole time and was a bit pre occupied. two hours had passed it dawned on her. she was supposed to be on travel for only 30 minutes but why is it that shes still in transit? she looked over her window and saw rows and rows of trees. she looked back and saw another car behind her, a black one.

"e-excuse me. arent we lost? are we not supposed to be in the company for a s-shoot?" she said to the driver over a small awning overlooking the front seat.

"were on the right path, ma'am." replied a deep voice. it was not her usual driver/pa. her manager was not even there. she went into a panic. where is she going? who are they?

all of a sudden, both car went into a stop. she looked outside but all she could see was mist and lots and lots of trees. she was then startled when a tiny woman opened the door of her van.

"get off of the van, maam." she said curtly. the daughter was sure she heard that voice before and even her face was overly familiar with her.

"YOU! youre nhus p.a. he put you up to this, didnt he? im gonna sue him big time this time." she threatened but everyone just seem to smirk or even laugh. the moment the daughter saw both of her parents being dragged along the dirt path unconscious, she was horrified. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!"

"welcome to the core, miss." she said with a slight amused bow.

"core? what core are you talking about?"

"youll see. its heaven in hell or rather hell on earth, if i may say so." she said now in giggles.

she was then dragged roughly down the van and into the dirt path along with her still unconscious parents. she was all cold and afraid but what ran through her mind was how she could get back on nhu. on how she could twist his small neck and be finally be free from all comparisons and idolatry towards the bastard who she was to grow up with and be compared to all of her life.

the moment they were thrown down on the dirt floor, they were greeted by none other than 2 red eyed vampires and a bi-colored eyed ethan, all renewed and forgiven.

were on an extended vacation in a resort far up north. its been a couple of months after the chaos and its been peaceful after. im still on hiatus. its all harsh and all to hear but here i am on a vacation with my mate and later on we will be accompanied by the company staffs and heads for a much awaited outing slash team building exercises.

all that uproar doesnt seem to ever exist in the first place. i tried to ask arius about it but all he could ever tell was theyre been taken care of. i mean, whats that suppose to mean? are they dead? are they kicked out of the country?

"here, love." it was arius handing me down my coconut shake with its cute umbrella decoration.

it seems so funny to think that i have a vampire here in the middle of the heat, under an umbrella, sipping coconut juice.

"whats so funny?" he finally asked since im already been all smiles.

"you."

"me? what about me?"

"vampire? sun? it doesnt add up." i smiled at him with the straw on my lips.

"human fantasies, huh? im sorry to pop your bubble, but its far from what you think." arius said putting his arm out on the sun. i just giggled in reply.

we were about to go back on our cabin room, when i felt a sudden jab on my stomach and abruptly clutched my hand on arius arm.

"love? whats wrong?"

"its here again, ari. h-heat..." with that i was suddenly lifted up with my arms on his shoulder and my legs wrapped around his torso.
