"Ko, no, breakfast first." Grace grabbed her before she could get to the link pod, closing it as she pulled her.

"Oh come on." She said, throwing her head back in dismay, stumbling after the woman who was pulling her away but the woman didn't budge, she had been doing this for a year now, it was not now that she would break. "Graaaaace!"

And so she sat silently in the chow hall in the middle of the tense atmosphere that demanded silence from everyone.

It was getting more and more tense in here as tensions were rising between the humans and the Na'vi, humans kept cutting down the forest, digging up the ground and mining the rocks and the Na'vi couldn't bare it so there was two attacks on the machines already resulting with casualties on both sides.

She passed her hand through her hair with a sigh, eating the tasteless noodle imitation in her plate, scaring herself for a moment before remembering the little seed was in her avatar's hair and not her own, she sometimes mixes it up because she spends most of her days as an avatar to keep up the bond between them still.

Ko needed to admit, she needed to agree, humans were doing what they were doing on earth all over again, destroying to build without a care for nature and it hurt her deeply on the inside but never let it show to her people.

Sadly these hostilities started a while ago so she hadn't been able to escape RDA or older Na'vi supervision when the little group met at the school, only being able to have casual conversation as the tension was also felt there, Uwi and Kayava having almost pulled away, suspecting her too which hurt.

She was a soldier and was supposed to be the RDA's worker but she long butted head with the colonel Miles Quaritch, at the start it could go from screaming to physical reprimands but he got off her tail after Grace suspected something and threatened to reduce all their work to nothing and then, only then, did he stop trying to force her to work for him, seeing how serious the scientist was.

"What do you think about the next group of drivers? They will be getting here in little less then four years." Grace said, sitting in front of Ko at the long table, snapping her from her thoughts.

"I heard we are getting another plan B?" She said, sipping the apple juice that tasted like it should actually be peach but it was apple somehow, earth fruits grown on Pandora and Pandora's own fruits could still make weird combos in taste even after so much time spent here, always a surprise as to what she'd taste.

Grace heavily sighed, grabbing her hair in fists.

"And from what I heard he had no training, no link time, nothing." Ko pat her shoulder. "And not too be rude, not meaning to insult you, but it is said he had some sort of spinal injury so a crippled legless man."

"I am not hurt by the loss of my leg for a long time now so don't worry, not offended... But just like how I can move it without trouble maybe he'll be able too use his legs too in the avatar body."

"If the spinal cord is not completely severed."

"In the avatar body it isn't."

"You still have partial feeling even if it is pain so we'll need to see if he can even link up."

"Trust in science Grace, wasn't it you that would say that?"

"Right."

"I think we got away." Ko muttered, listening around, ears on swivels.

"You know you'd be much more silent if you took off those sky people clothes, they give away your position so easily." Ney'ite said, having followed her like a shadow.
