Over the next few days Merida anxiously waits to hear from the judge. The security team that Chris's manager set up follows her, but they do not make it obvious they are following her. On Thursday morning Merida has just finished feeding her kids when she hears her phone. She normally would have it on vibrate and put up but knowing she could get a call she kept it out with Catherine's permission. She sees the caller Id and sees it's an LA number.

"Miranda, can you excuse me a minute? I need to take this."

"Sure."

Merida steps outside the door onto the playground.

"Hello."

"Is this Merida Owens?"

"It is."

"This is the Judge. I viewed your case. I am going to accept it, however, remember I don't normally accept without a police report, but after listening to you and all your witnesses I will grant it. Here is how it works Bradly is not allowed within 1500 yards of you. If he is seen or comes closer than that you contact the police immediately!"

"Thanks so much. I will."

"Ms. Owens, I will tell you between you and me, also what saved you is because of who you are engaged to. That is what helped you a lot. But please do not tell anyone I told you that."

"Your secret is safe with me. Thanks so much."

"You're welcome. I'm sorry you are having to go through this. If you ever need anything let us know, okay?"

"Thanks."

Merida hangs up and quickly texts Chris.

Merida-I got it! I got the restraining order! She just called me! 😁

Just as Merida was heading back inside, she gets a text

Chris-That's great babe! I knew you would! Call me when you're home and we can talk about it. Love you 😘

Merida-Will do. Love you too 😘

Merida puts her phone away and goes back to work. That evening when she gets off work after she arrives home and lets Dixie out, she texts Chris to let him know she's home, it is not long till he facetimes her. She tells him what the judge told her except for him being part of the reason she got it. They talk for an hour before they say goodnight. The rest of the week goes by. Chris and Merida don't see each other for several weeks. Chris has lots of meetings he has to go to, but they continue to facetime every night. Merida does get a call from the dress shop in LA telling her dress is ready and she can come back to try it on. She works it out to fly out in late May. She is staying with Scott. Chris has to stay in Boston. Scott takes her to the dress shop on Saturday and she tries on the dress and after making sure it fits, she is allowed to take it home. As her and Scott leave the shop he asks

"Is there anything else you need? We didn't get to shop anymore that day."

"Well, I do need to find some shoes and my garter, but the one I want I doubt I will find here. I think I have order it."

"What do you want?"

Merida pulls out her phone and pulls her Pinterest page and shows him.

"Oh wow, that's cool. Yeah, I don't think you will find that in a store, but if you want, I can try and find it online for you."

"Sure thanks, that would be great."
