Why am I more nervous to go on a date with Harry than I was to go to Jax's house?

As soon as Harry got down on his knees and begged me to go out with him there was no way I could say no.

He looked so desperate, looking up at me like he used to when we were completely infatuated with one another.

In my head I know that I could never work out with Jax because my heart is still tied to Harry, I don't think that tie could ever be broken. He saved my life eight years ago and just made me feel like I was this incredible, beautiful person that could do no wrong.

Harry looked so shocked when I agreed, his eyes danced with happiness and his dimples popped when he smiled up at me. My heart fucking fluttered at the smile he flashed me.

His smile will always be the prettiest sight, nothing could ever compare.

Watching him get so excited before he rushed upstairs to get ready to go really made me see that he's not going to cause any emotional harm to me like before.

I've already been sad, angry, completely heartbroken over the situation and I'm ready to listen and ask my questions.

"Mumma!" I hear Capri giggle when she notices me walk into the kitchen. "Pretty mumma!" She rushes over to me, hugging herself around my thighs and looking up at me with eyes exactly like her fathers.

"Thank you, little sun." I smile down at her as her dimples pop and the sweetest giggle leaves her lips.

"Where are you going?" Posie questions, standing on a chair that's been pushed up against the open fridge so she can reach the higher shelves. She looks worried, a little frown on her face as she's realised I'm most likely not staying home.

I smile at her, "me and daddy are going to go out on a date. Do you know what that is?"

She shakes her head, "not sure, mumma."

I move over to where she's stood, scooping her up and resting her on my hip. "When two people like each other, sometimes they go out on a date." I try my best to explain it to a child.

"Like a boyfriend?" Posie giggles.

"Yeah, like a boyfriend. Daddy isn't my boyfriend though, he's my best friend." She pouts at that, frowning at me.

"Well, make him your boyfriend then."

"It's not quite that easy, P." I chuckle, kissing her cheek a few times before placing her down on the tiled floor. "Can you two go and pack a sleepover bag to stay at grandma's house?" I request, Capri's eyes light up.

"Sleepover at grandma's?" She checks.

"Uh huh, you gotta be quick though." I laugh as she immediately grabs Posie's hand and runs out of the kitchen, her excited giggles of happiness slowly fading away.
