Hey, anyone wanna guess what Y/N's parents are hiding from them? ;)

"So, what is it with you and Camilo?" Maria questioned as I sighed.

We had just finished our food, and I decided to bring Maria up to my room to hang out for a bit, since my tía would think I'm rude or something if I didn't. The only reason why we became friends in the first place was because of our parents friendship.

"Listen Maria, I'm not trying to steal your man or anything, he just has some addiction to following me everywhere. "I explained before a memory of that one moment back at Bogotá filled my mind. I immediately pushed that thought aside and looked back at the wavy haired girl.

"I um... A few days ago, I saw you two come out of an alleyway together. I swear to god there's something going on (Y/N)." She spoke.

Shit shit shit-

"I dragged him there to tell him to stop following me around, okay? I'm not one of those friends." I stated, though she rolled her eyes.

"Anyways, I'm not sure how to get closer to him. Can u help or something? I'm just really shy..." Maria sighed, leaning on my vanity. God, I wasn't sure what to do with this girl.

I fell back onto my twin sized bed. "Fine." I groaned, then sat up against the headboard. "Sit down." I said as she beamed with excitement, then sat down beside me. This girl knew I wasn't in to in romance. Books are the only acceptance.

"Okay, so a few days ago, notice how he looked pretty annoyed when you were talking to him?" I asked as she shrugged. "That's because you were fangirling over him. Don't do that. Like, ever again. It was cringe."

She awkwardly smiled. "Hah, you're right I guess... but what am I supposed to do then?" She questioned, her bright irises full of curiosity.

"Try to befriend him,  but take it slow. You can't go from friends to lovers in only a week, it could take months" I advised.

"But when do I confess to him?"

"When you start seeing the signs that he likes you."

"What even are the signs...?"

One thing was for sure after that conversation, Maria was a pain in the ass. Her family ended up staying for dinner as well. But before Maria left my room, she looked over at me to speak.

"Also, can you maybe try staying away from Mr. Madrigal when I'm gone? Thanks!" She smiled, rushing out of the door.

I rolled my eyes and began walking towards the bathroom to take a shower. As I did so, I wondered how long it would take for Maria to get Camilo to like her.

The next day I decided to take a walk around the Encanto, since it wasn't thirty freaking degrees out today. I've lived in both the Philippines and Colombia, so since I was so used to it being hot all the time I preferred when it was cloudy and cool.

As I walked on the sidewalk, I noticed a shop nearby selling crystals. So of course had to check it out. Collecting crystals were one of my hobbies. I was enjoying my day so far, until before I could walk inside the shop I saw a familiar figure walk towards me. Mirabel.

When she stood in front of me, she wore an anxious smile. "Hey!" Her smile faded after I greeted her. "There's something I didn't tell you yesterday, I wanted you to see it in person. So, do you have time?"

I looked at the shop, and back at her as I mentally cursed. I felt like if I didn't keep an eye on her when ever she tried finding more clues about casita's downfall, she would find herself in chaos. So, I shrugged. "Sure."

She led the way towards casita, then towards the nursery. "Okay," I sighed as I sat onto her bed. "What did you want to show me?" She reached into the drawer of her desk and pulled out multiple green shards of glass.

"So," She put the glass on the desk and leaned onto it. "After that talk I had with Luisa that day, she when I told everyone about the casa falling she felt... Weak." Mirabel started, leaving me quite shocked.

"Luisa feeling weak? Damn, that's a first." I commented.

"She said to check out Bruno's room, because maybe I would find something in there. And she was right! I found this vision she was talking about. Now watch this." She said when I stood near her desk to she what she was doing.

The girl put three shards together, revealing a vision of herself looking worried."I tried putting the rest together but I always mess up!" She put the three back into her palm.

"Maybe I should collect more sea glass and put them together to see my future." I joked as the Madrigal giggled before putting the shards back into one pile.

"Why am I in your vision, Bruno?" Mirabel pondered just as we jumped, hearing loud thunder coming from the door. We turned around to see Pepa Madrigal, holding a large basket in her hands as a thunder cloud hovered above her head.

"Oh, tia! You scared us." Mirabel gasped.

"Jeez..." I sighed in shock.

"Sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to. Ugh shoo shoo!" She pushed the cloud out of the door and slammed it. And hello (Y/N)!" She smiled, walking into the room. Wow, she knew my name? I mean sure I had breakfast with them and was Isabela's friend, but she remembered me?

"You remembered my name?" I replied, putting my hands together behind my back to look more proper.

"How could I not? All Camilo talks about now is you." She stated, placing the basket on the dresser as I raised an eyebrow. "Anyways, I just came here to get the last of tonito's things when I heard the name we don't speak." She whispered the last part, staring at Mirabel wide anxious eyes as another cloud apeared.

"Great! Now I'm thundering. And the thunder will turn into a drizzle, and the drizzle will lead to a sprinkle!" She stressed, walking around the room until she paused. "Clear skies, clear skies." She sighed, sitting on the ground to pick up something. "Clear skies..." She mumbled as the cloud faded away.

"Tia, If Bru-" Mirabels voice faded when the room became dark again and the cloud had returned. "If he were to have a vision, what would it be about?" Mirabel gave her tia a serious look, which only seemed to make her situation worse.

"We don't talk about Bruno." Pepa snapped.

"I know! It's just-"

"Mirabel please. We have to get ready for the Guzmans!" She turned around. I completely forgot, Isabela's engagement dinner was tonight. And who knows how her and Bobo were doing. I soon realized I had to speed this conversation up so I could catch up with my friend.

"Well, she just wants to know if it was generally positive, or less positive-" My voice was siezed by the door being  kicked open by Felix Madrigal.

"It was a nightmare! He hollered as his wife rushed to her feet.

"Felix!" The thundering mess lectured.

"She needs to know Pepa, she needs to know." He walked closer to the two of us.

"Even (Y/N)? We don't talk about Bruno!" Okay woman, we get it. We don't talk about Bruno.

"He would say something terrible, and then BOOM! It would happen!" He horribly explained, completely ignoring Pepa.

"What if he didn't understand what he saw?" Mirabel quickly questioned.

"Well you better figure it out, because it was coming for you!"

"That is it Felix! We're leaving, now!" The woman shouted, dragging him out of the room and slamming the door.

Me and Mirabel were left in silence. We didn't know what to say, or do.

"Damn..."
