Morgan was born and kat cried. She was named Godmother and she cried some more. Remembering back to what her and Stephen talked about. Wanting to start a family on day. That was never going to happen and she was never going to move on. She couldn't. he was the one that pieced her broken and bitter heart back together, how was she supposed to move on now?
Nat was at the compound, she had basically become the director. Leading meetings and sending groups out to look for some way to bring them back but Kat had lost all hope the day that they killed Thanos.
Tony and Kat retired. Kat went to Clints farm house. They stayed there for a while. Clint liked having her there, family. When she wasn't with Clint she was at Tonys farm house. She had wanted to build a house. A house for her and Stephen right off of Clints house. An acre over.
Tony bought the land, a dozen acres for her and they started designing her a home but kat knew she would never break ground on the house but it gave her and Tony something to do.
Tony knew that even though kat put on a smile for morgan, she was severely depressed. So Tony made it his mission as her friend to help her live again.
