So chapter before last I was talking about Swan Queen is and how that was my BROTP.
Well I was then asked what a BROTP was.
Not mentioning who it was, but it made me remember the days when I was first joining the fandom world....
I HAD NO GUIDANCE!!!!
I literally found out what OTP meant from watching a CaptianSparklez video on YouTube.....
And I only figured out what cannon meant yesterday.....
So I am an idiot...
Anyway, to help you all avoid the awkwardness of asking what something means, we are going to have a vocabulary lesson.
OTP-one true pairing
BROTP-ORP except just as friends
NOTP- NOT one true pairing
Ship-short for relationship, and if you didn't know that then your life is a lie
Cannon-it actually happened in the story/show/movie
Headcannon- it is a cannon, except it is written by a fan rather than the original author
I can't even...- well it is pretty self explanatory, just means you are so overwhelmed with emotion that you can't put it into words
Fandom-a kingdom of fans, and us oncers have MANY kings and queens
Fanfiction-fiction written about a fandom
A.U.-alternative universe
IRL- in real life
Feels-it is short for feelings and it is used when your emotions are too much to control....can be used in place of I can't even...
