Okay so this tumblr post describes my struggle flawlessly.

Okay, so I really want to know how you people don't see this.

Out of the roughly one hundred people that read this only two or three of you understand my point!!

Look, Rumple is my bae, and he did everything for Bae.

WHEN FREAKING SNOW WAS CURSED AND SHE TRIED TO KILL REGINA AND CHARMING EVERYONE WAS SYMPATHETIC AND CHEERING HER ON!!!

WELL YOU KNOW WHAT?! RUMPLE IS FREAKING CURSED!!!

HE CURSED HIMSELF TO SAVE BAE, SO HE HAS A DARK CURSE ON HIM!!

I MEAN HE IS THE DARK ONE!!

Okay, look. About 99% of the time Rumple isn't the guy that you see on the screen.

You only see Rumple in moments like him catching Belle as she fell from the ladder, or as he promised to do well at Bae's grave, or when he danced with Belle in the premier.

The rest of the time you are getting the dark one. The darkest being that lives, that was created at the vault of the dark one, that is so dark, it is able to be ressurected.

We were all on team Rumple when he killed Pan and saved everyone by killing himself.

That was a Rumple moment.

And he was dead.

But look, it took him centuries to get to the point where he wasn't trying to preserve himself, centuries to become a hero. Then he died, and was ressurected.

At which point his courage was flushed out, and he was self preserving again.

BUT HE STILL CHOOSE BAE OVER THE DAGGER WHICH IN HIS CASE IS HIS FREEDOM!!

Okay, think about it.

Do you really think that your parents would give up all of the freedom that they have, ALL OF IT, so that there is a chance, a sliver of a chance, that you wouldn't die, EVEN THOUGH you were already basically dead?

Like really take a minuet and think about it. That is what Rumple did for Bae, but not just once, MANY times.

He only chose power over him once, for a split second, and that split second cost Rumple centuries of pain and suffering.

LIKE HOW COULD YOU NOT THINK THAT THAT IS HEROIC?!

I am sorry if I am coming off really defensive, but it really aggravates me that people are saying things about Rumple like, "Thank god he's gone, Belle really deserves better than a self-centered, back-stabbing, coward."

I won't say who said that, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, but really?! That is so offensive!

I am not going to root for scarlet beauty, but I am not going to call Will, or Belle for that matter out and insult him like that.

Because if you aren't aware, Will has done some REALLY bad things in his life, and made some REALLY big mistakes.

Gez I am just poed that people are being such jerks about this.
