It's best to refrain from frequent use of scented intimate sprays because they can cause irritation, allergic reaction, or upset the acid balance of the vaginal microflora.
Never apply perfume on the skin around your vagina! You can sprinkle it on the inner thighs at a distance of about 15 centimeters (6 inches) from the vagina, but not closer than that. Perfumes containing alcohol can cause not only irritation, but also a burning sensation.
Avoid using scented pads, panty liners, tampons, or toilet paper. They can cause irritation or allergies. The same goes for intimate hygiene wet wipes. Give preference to unscented wet wipes intended for a baby. They contain fewer chemicals.
