Our girls (Marina)

Chapter 19

"Em?" Carina called for the five year old that was playing near the window waiting for her sister to be ready so they could head out to school "Go put some shoes on" she said as she approached the girl and closed the window "It's cold out and we don't want you to get sick right?" she asked  

Emma looked at her mamma with a confused look on her face, she then looked at her bare feet and giggled "Sorry mamma... I forgot" the little blonde said running to her room, looking for a pair of shoes 

As she headed to her room she met with her sister and Maya that were ready to leave the place "Where you going little one?" Maya asked smiling as the toddler run past them  

"Forgot the shoes mommy!" Emma said without looking at her making Maya chuckle at her

When they were finally at the living room Carina was finishing the five year old backpack that somehow had ended full of toys. Emma was allowed to bring one toy to school, yet the kid always tried to sneak up a bunch of her favourite toys hoping that one day her mom wouldn't notice 

"Hi there" the brunette said smiling at the eight year old receiving a smile in return "Hi" the brunette said planting a soft kiss in her wife's lips. The little girl left the couple alone as she went for a glass of water before having to leave for school 

"All 'eady" the toddler said entering the room her moms were in 

"I see that" Maya said letting go of her wife's hips and picking the little blonde up 

"You ready bella?" Carina asked the little brunette that walked towards her "What do you have today?" she asked 

"Maths" Luna said as she rolled her eyes "and Science... I think that's it" she said trying to remember if she had anything else today 

"You don't like maths?" Maya asked as she looked at the little girl 

"I do" she said making both women look at her confused "It's just they are boring and before at least I had Sofia" she said mentioning her best friend's name, both women well aware of who the girl was "but now she's sick" 

"I'm sorry to hear that" Carina said handing the kid her bag "Maybe I can call Sofia's mom when you get out of school" she said making Luna's eyes lit up "and we'll see if she feels well enough to talk to you si?"

"Bless you bella" Carina said as she heard the little five year old sneeze "Is everything all right?" the brunette asked softly when she noticed the kid wasn't eating and was just moving her food around. It was dinner time and the four of them were sitting at the table enjoying their food. Well except Emma, her stomach had felt weird all day so she didn't feel like eating anything at the moment

"Not hungry" the little blonde said and Carina could immediately tell the kid had a stuffy nose because of her voice

The brunette quickly placed the palm of her hand on her daughter's forehead. She knew something wasn't right the kid had been sneezing and coughing since they picked them up from school. 

The kid didn't have a fever yet but Carina felt like it was coming at anytime now and she wasn't wrong. The next morning Emma woke up sweating and she felt like throwing up. She stayed at her bed as long as she could trying to go back to sleep but she felt worst as the minutes went by. She felt uncomfortable, icky and her clothes were sticking to her  

"Mamma..." a little blonde said entering Carina and Maya's room waking both women up. 

"What's wrong bella?" the brunette said noticing the little five-year-old a little pale.
