Chapter 39: Short lasting Peace

Ochako pov

"M-MARRIED?!" I yell taken back.

"YOUR'E SIXTEEN YOU CANT GET MARRIED!" Dad yells from behind Izuku.

He caresses my cheek and smiles.

"Age isn't a factor in how I feel..." He says as he leans in toward me.

I start to blush.

Suddenly everyone freezes but Izuku and he smiles at me.

"Remember, I'd stop time if it means I can be with you." He says smirking before placing his lips on mine.

I blush a bit before he lets up.

I snort.

"That's was so cheesy..." I say before bursting out laughing.

"I know but the path I'm taking will lead us apart again, I want us to be bound together for the rest of our lives, so let's get married before I go, just so we know that we won't drift apart." He says while rubbing the back of his neck and looking at the ground.

I smile.

"If your gonna propose at least bring a ring." I say giggling and bringing his chin up so he's looking at me.

"I just woke up from a coma give me a break!" He says laughing.

I giggle a bit but get serious.

"Also what's all the talk of having to go?" I ask concerned.

"I heard a voice in my head, it told me Shigaraki was just the first of my many challenges, and once I complete them I'm going to become the god of this universe..." He says muttering the last few words.

"GOD OF THE UNIVERSE?!" I yell while backing away and putting my hands on my mouth.

He chuckles.

"Yeah, and I want you to be the godess that stands beside me." He says rubbing the back of his head again.

I smile.

"We cant get married at this age, but I can promise you, I'll never leave your side, even when I'm gone, I'll always look after you, until the day you die." I say bringing him into a kiss.

Once we finish kissing everyone is moving again.

'So he used me kissing him as a way to make it look like we never spoke, smart.' I think to myself as he turns around.

"We wouldn't get married officially of course, but in the future we will right?" He says putting his hand on mine.

"Yeah..." I say smiling.

"Thank god." Dad mutters making a tick mark appear on izuku's face.

"You really had us Midorya, I thought you were gonna drop down on one knee and propose right then!" Kaminari says making himself look like a clown.

"I just woke up from a coma how would I have a ring..." Izuku says making Kaminari nod.

"Fair point, man you're smart!" Kaminari says making everyone go silent.

"No you're just dumb." Jiro says holding in a laugh.

Kaminari smiles at jiro.

Everyone else burst out laughing.

'Oh he's in love.' I think to myself while smirking and looking at Kaminari.

"Anywa-" Izuku gets cut off by his phone ringing.

"Hold on." Izuku says stepping away from all of us.

Izuku pov

"Yes?" I ask picking up the phone.
