She seemed to see the conflict in your eyes

"Y/n, it's me. It's Nat. It's me my love. Wake up." She hurried, your hand still wrapped around her throat

You heard heavy footsteps behind you but it was too late and everything went dark.

[...]

Y/n's POV

You woke up hours later.  Normally you would've been back by now and had your memories wiped. Because you hadn't you'd gotten some back.

You remembered some childhood memories and a few about the team though not enough to make sense.

You sprang to your feet and looked around..  A cell.  "You're awake." A voice said

You looked to see the redhead.  "Nat." You said

Her eyes grew wide before she remembered she'd told you that.  "We're sending you to Wakanda, they'll help you like they did Bucky." She said

"I'll kill them." You replied simply

"They handled Bucky just fine." She shrugged

"I'm not Bucky. I'm a lot more powerful, but you already know that." You said

You realized your mask had been taken.  "You took the mask?" You asked

"I wanted to see your face." She said  "It is pretty." You agreed

She changed the subject  "You are more powerful than Barnes, it's why I'm going with." She said

You scoffed  "That's pathetic. You can't do anything, though maybe you'd like me to show you what my powers can do, what they can make you feel." You grinned

You could manipulate the body to do what you wanted physically. You could also make it feel whatever you wanted, nothing too grand.

What you could do to a person with your hands you could make them feel. For example, a punch or slap. You could also bring up a forcefield though they weren't that strong.

"I've felt your powers. I'm well aware of what they can do." She said, there was a longing in her voice.

You looked at her curiously  "Oh c'mon. Don't even remember those nights? Pity." She said and you narrowed your eyes

"What are you talking about?" You asked

"Long nights you'd spend with me and me alone. Nights filled with pleasure and love. You'll remember eventually." She said, smirking slightly at the first part.

"I haven't been with anyone like that." You spat out

"How would you know?" She questioned

"Because I won't. I won't touch anyone else." You said, confused by your answer

"What do you mean anyone else?" Nat asked, curious and a bit suspicious.

"I- I don't know. I won't touch anyone else- no one but her." You mumbled, confused and trying to remember.

She was suddenly smiling slightly, a soft smile. Eyes filled with love.  "Even brainwashed you're still so loyal." She whispered  You looked at her, confused.

Your head was starting to hurt again.  She raised her hand to her ear, listening to someone.

"We're going now." She said to you  "Don't cause any trouble on the way out." She said  "How can I? These restrict my powers, and they hurt slightly." You said, indicating the things on your wrist

"They hurt?" Her head snapped to yours  "You never told me that. When they were made you said they were fine." Nat said

"Well it seems I was being a martyr. Probably under the idea that if I ended up wearing them that I'd done something to deserve it." You said, surprised by your answer yet knowing it was true.

"Why were they made?" You asked  "Wanda. There was a time she'd been able to get to us. We all needed a backup if it happened and a way to be kept safe from the more powerful on the team, you included." Nat explained as she led you to the jet.

"Hmm." You hummed  Words flashed through your head again

"I adore you." You murmered to yourself

"What?" Nats head snapped to yours, eyes wide.

"I don't know. The words are stuck in my head. I adore you. I don't know why or even who said it." You said to her, getting in your seat.

"I did." She whispered  "I said them to you."

You looked at her and nodded  "Makes sense." You murmered

"Why?" She asked

"Because they felt loving. And you're the only one I've gotten that feeling around." You said

She smiled, big.

"We'll get your memories back and make sure they can't use the trigger words on you." Nat said

You nodded as you believed her  "I trust you." You said and she smiled again

You were silent for a bit before you said,  "After all, if my memory is correct you are still my fiancé."
