Forty Eight

"Dr Davidson, I will ask you this one more time, you're saying that you have no knowledge of-" she began to ask for the hundredth time, when the only door in the room was flung open, and inwalked a man no older than twenty years old, holding a file

Looking over her shoulder; watching the other officer walk over to her, officer Maddox stared at him quizzically, when she specifically asked for no interruptions during her investigation

Finally reaching her, he placed the file into her hands as he said, "Officer Maddox, Dr. Davidson is allowed to leave"

Four hours

Four hours Kiana had been staring at the same four walls, with Officer Maddox sat opposite her, refusing to leave the room with no answers

Well, what felt like four hours, for all Kiana knew it could of been nine of even just two hours of constant questions from this blonde Officer who was determined to get any information out of her.

"What?" The blonde asked atonsined as Kiana herself felt her heart rate pick up at the thought of finally getting out

Without another word the officer who came in, saying that she was allowed to leave, lent over and whispered into officer Maddox's ear.

After a few moments officer Maddox groaned in frustration, turning towards the door and walked straight out of it.

"Dr. Davidson you're free to leave" the male officer told Kiana as he turned to also leave

It wasn't even a second later that kiana was scrambling out of her seat and locating the exit to the place she had been kept for so long, only for another officer to come up to her, guiding her out of the building.

"You're a lucky woman you know" they mumbled

"I'm sorry?" Kiana asked, confused as to how she was so lucky when her life looked like a shitshow currently

But she didn't even get a response from the officer, as they led her out of the building and through the door which finally gave her her freedom

Squinting her eyes as the blaring sunlight hit her face for the first time in however long she was stuck there for Kiana, found a familiar figure stood leaning against his car as he waited for her.

"Luca?" Kiana whispered as she walked up to the car, seeing the same man that had led her to end up where she was and gotten her involved in everything

"Tesoro I-"

"What the fuck Luca!" She yelled as she pushed him into his car

"What the fuck was that!" She cried out, pushing him again as he didn't even move an inch, he was practically a brick wall

Knowing she had every right to breakdown and hurt him in any way, Luca stayed silent as he felt her hands push themselves against his chest, hitting him with all her anger and frustration

It was actually eight hours since she had been taken from his arms, and yet he spent every moment, fighting for her back. He called T and Antonio over to his, sparing the details of the sex for T's sake, but telling the two about Adriano and the secret intelligence service barging in.

T was livid to say the least, calling up every single one of his contacts for any insight on his little sister's whereabouts and wanting her back with him, and if not him, then Luca or Cassie and Tom asap.

Hearing the softest whimpers fall from Kiana's lips as her hands crumbled from their fists, flat onto his chest, Luca immediately wrapped his arms around her, keeping her upright and safe

"I want-" Kiana whispered against his chest

"I want" she repeated, trying to finish her sentence, or even form anything coherent after today's events

Luca simply hummed, holding her tighter as he kissed her forehead, knowing he wasn't the one usually for affection, but something just told him this would help and it seemed to.

"What do you want tesoro, anything...I can give you anything" he promised, not even knowing if he could but he would do anything for her

"I don't even know anymore" she hiccuped as she felt the sob she'd been trying to hold down since the moment she stepped out of the police station come out

"I don't know what I'm doing anymore" she admitted, feeling her world crumbling down and the one person she should hate right now, was the one's arms she never wanted to leave

"Tesoro" Luca sighed, realising that infact he'd never seen her low side before, only her hyper sexual side, "do you want me to take you home?"

As funny as it sounded Kiana couldn't place it but even though he'd brought her into all of this, she wasn't leaving without a fight, so she simply shook her head no as she whispered, "no I want to stay with you"

"You sure?"

"I'm sure" she whispered as Luca opened the passenger side door for her and gently buckled her in as she looked up at him with such vulnerability in her eyes for the first time
