"CAS WHERE'S ALL MY UNDERWEAR" Kiana yelled across the house to her friend.

"No need to shout I'm literally next door, gosh Kiana you could be a human bullhorn". Cassie exaggerated

Frustrated with her Kiana threw a pillow at her friend still waiting for an answer to her question.

"Don't look at me, we always do a wash on Saturdays and you just so happened to wear all your underwear, and before you ask, yes all of mine are in the wash as well" Cassie stated

"It's not my fault you keep saying that you're going to buy more underwear but keep mysteriously loosing them like a week later" Cassie pointed out, knowing damn well what her friend was like and more than likely she was sleeping with a one night stand and when she was sneaking out, she left her underwear behind because either she couldn't find it or didn't want to risk the guy waking up and asking her to stay for breakfast so she just left without it.

"Ugh, Cas don't judge me" Kiana huffed, already knowing what Cassie was hinting at.

It was as if the two of them could read each other's minds at times.

Kiana sighed, what was she going to do? She had to leave soon to get to Francesca's to cook dinner with her.

"You could always go commando" Cassie suggested wiggling her eyebrows

"Cassie I'm not meeting a guy"

"Oh" Cassie hummed, "A girl?" She hinted, thinking that maybe after the two times her and Kiana had slept together, Kiana had decided to come out as bisexual.

"No Cas, I'm still very much straight... well besides not for you" Kiana winked, causing Cassie to laugh at her bestfriend, blowing her a kiss.

"You know it" Cassie smiled

"So where are you going to have to go commando?" Cassie asked

Kiana was ready to go rummaging through Tom's draws to see if he had any clean boxers when she realised she was going to be wearing a dress, so that was a definite no.

Ugh, commando it is.

Kiana hesitated before agreeing, seeing as this was her only solution.

"I met this woman called Francesca at Clive's birthday dinner and we were talking and I told her how none of us can cook for shit, so her being the nice person she is, invited me over to learn how to cook" Kiana explained

"Ohhh Francesca, I think I've seen her in the office a few times before, she always looks like she's ready to kick Clive in the balls majority of the time" Cassie laughed

"Doesnt surprise me, she told me straight up that she doesn't like him, which gave me good vibes because all those women who suck up to him are weird" Kiana expressed

"I know what you mean, I don't get how they can like him. I just like the job I got from him and the money" Cassie admitted

As Kiana began to put on her black simple bodycon mini dress, Cassie started to inform her more about Francesca and what she knew about her.

"-yeah her and her husband are mad rich and they have a son no one ever sees but he does business with Mr Morgan. They are extremely powerful, I can never remember the reason why but let's just say Mr Morgan doesn't let anyone check anything on the database surrounding his and that family's business. Dodgy I know but that's none of my business. It ain't affecting me. But I'm happy you made a friend at the party" Cassie spoke

Kiana didn't really care for the information surrounding Francesca as she had already shown her kindness in a motherly way, unlike her own.

Kiana's mother wasn't a terrible mother but she did lack the empathy and compassionate side a mother should have so instead of comforting Kiana when something bad happened to her, she'd tell her to 'suck it up and prepare for worse as life can get worse'. They were never close.

So since this was Kiana's first proper interaction of empathy and compassion from a motherly figure, she jumped at the opportunity to get to know Francesca, even if the idea of how Clive said she had made important friends through sitting with Francesca at the party did keep on coming up in the back of her head.

"Well, thanks for the info Cas but I have to go now" She smiled, leaving her room to make her way to the door.

Cassie hugged her goodbye and wished her a good day.
