Grace Alder POV.

I woke up with a jolt hearing the loud bang on my bedroom door. Then I realise I'm still in his prison.

" Open the door, Grace." I heard Roger shouting from the outside.

I sit up from my bed and moved to open the door.

"Pack your bag and get whatever you need, we are leaving. " I frown.

" Where? " I asked.

" That's for me to know. You just get ready, you have only 30 minutes. " And with that, he left the room.

" What the fuck is he doing now? " I talked to myself running back n forth inside the room.

' I have to think something, there might be something from which I can tell Aldrik about my whereabouts. ' I thought.

I looked around my room trying to find something, something that could help me.

I packed some clothes, some sanitary and some money, in case I run away.

I got ready in simple clothes.

I also left a small letter in case Aldrik run here to find me.

' What if I stab him and run away?' a thought came into my mind.

"What the hell are you thinking Grace? You can't kill someone? " I said to myself.

Even if I hurt him, Valdimir is going to hunt me down from anywhere for his revenge.

What should I do? Should I run away?

Well, I can't he changed the locks.

There is no mobile in this apartment. Only Roger had one. Should I try to tell Roger about his family and Val?

Maybe he'll listen to me or believe me?

No, Roger is brainwashed by Maverick not to believe anything I said.

But maybe I can try?

Maybe Aldrik would find me.

Aldrik, God I miss him terribly. It's not even a day but I miss him like we haven't seen each other for ages.

I don't know what he might be doing right now? Is he alright? And what about Noah and Evan? I want to see them. I miss them all.

What I had done to myself. It's all my fault that I listened to whatever Val said. He used me for his personal issues and now I'm paying for my stupidity.

Roger hadn't done anything yet but who knows about the future and I can't even think about meeting Maverick after what he did last night.

It still stings when I touch my neck.

I was so engrossed in thinking that I lost count of time. I came back on earth when Roger knocked on my door.
