Yap: Now we wait...
As the lone B2 flew towards the Azur Lane base, several more were launched to determine the last known position of Orochi.
Yap: [*Sukhoi squad, fly to these coordinates. And report any suspicious activity. Be it Siren or Orochi itself.*]
Su-57 squad: [*Roger. Flying towards coordinates given, commander.*]
1 of the random Sukhoi spoke up
Sukhoi pilot: [*Commander. Once we return, we can get them vodkas from the storage, yes?*]
Yap: [*It'll depend on whether or not you successfully do it boys. I'll be waiting. But don't take too long.*]
Sukhoi squad leader: [*Understood commander. (To the other Sukhois) You heard the boss, boys. Get to the area, collect intel and leave ASAP.*]
Sukhoi squad: [*Yes boss.*]
Meanwhile with the B2....
Yap: [*Bomber. Status report.*]
B2 pilot: [*Currently still en route to Azur Lane base. No hostiles encountered so far.*]
Yap: [*Good....Make sure the package's safely delivered to them.*]
B2 pilot: [*No worries commander. With me piloting this baby, nothing goes wrong.*]
Yap: [*Until you get shot down, that is. (snickers) Welp. Inform me again once you're on your way back, will ya?*]
B2: (chuckles) [*Aight commander. See ya around on the ship later.*]
Back with the Sukhois....
Sukhoi leader: [*Commander....?*]
Yap: [*Speak.*]
Sukhoi leader: [*The Sirens.... They've activated Orochi, it seems. It's glowing. Permission to engage?*]
Yap: [*Negative Sukhoi. Obtain pictures and intel and return immediately. A few Blackbirds later will swoop in and launch a few drone strikes. Is that clear?*]
Sukhoi leader: [*Yes commander. (To his squad) Alright boys, boss says we're still sticking to our mission of gathering intel. Prepare high speed cameras.*]
Sukhoi squad: [*Yes boss.*]
As they flew by in high altitudes, several photos were taken. A supply depot, Orochi itself, repair facilities, along with some Siren techs.
Yap: [Of course they'd head over there and try activate it fully before we destroy it....(sighs) bit of a cliche but eh. Works fine for me.]
With B2...
The B2 has landed in Azur Lane base. And along with it, it's pilot and package.
B2 pilot: The package's for Azur Lane commanders. (Hands it over) I shall take my leave.
Bennet: Wait!
B2 pilot: Huh?
Bennet: You said you were sent from Yap, right?
B2 pilot: Why, yes. Anything?
Bennet: I......would like to thank him. Please do tell him that.
B2 pilot: .....Understood.
Bennet: It might seem childish or unfitting of me. But please.
B2 pilot: (pats Bennet's shoulder) Yeah. Don't you worry about it. Your message will be conveyed.
Bennet: ...... Thank you.
As the B2 pilot was now on his way back, several Azur Lane escort fighters flew in escort formation alongside him (Yap: Yeah no shit. Escort vehicles always follow in escort formation, y'know? For ships and planes it's 2-3 planes at each side and 1-3 at the front and back. After reaching a certain amount of distance, usually they'll break off. So that's that for ya.).
